  1. I think DeLoss said "Texas will decide when Texas and ATM will play again." Wait till they find out that the first time we meet in the SEC it will be in Austin.
  2. Sounds like "BREAKING NEWS: According to an unreliable source..."
  3. I like the 3-6 format where each school has 3 permanent opponents each year and rotates through the other 6 teams home/away every 4 years. In the comments someone posted an example of how this would look. I think Andy Staples of The Athletic did something similar many months ago. "My stab at permanent opponents. I tried to balance historical rivalries, regionality, competitiveness, and more recent rivalry. No one is going to be completely happy, but the beauty is you still play everyone else twice over a four year span.Alabama - Auburn, Tennessee, LSUArkansas - Texas, Missouri, Texas A&MAuburn - Alabama, Georgia, Miss StateFlorida - Georgia, South Carolina, KentuckyGeorgia - Florida, Auburn, South CarolinaKentucky - Vanderbilt, Tennessee, FloridaLSU - Texas A&M, Miss State, AlabamaOle Miss - Miss State, Oklahoma, VanderbiltMiss State - Ole Miss, LSU, AuburnMissouri - Arkansas, Oklahoma, South CarolinaOklahoma - Texas, Missouri, Ole MissSouth Carolina - Missouri, Georgia, FloridaTennessee - Alabama, Vanderbilt, KentuckyTexas - Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas A&MTexas A&M - Texas, LSU, ArkansasVanderbilt - Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss" The Athletic article:
  4. The Athletic article on Arch:
  5. As of May 2, UL thinks they can get him for $150K. I was surprised it was that low, but I'm not involved in any of that. I lived in Louisville for several years and I just happen to know a UL guy that helps arrange these things, FWIW.
  6. Looks like he's having a stroke
  7. UL thinks they can get Moore for $150K (scales up annually). Seems like a bargain for a top 60 player.
  8. Correct. If you can't find a new home and the team doesn't want you back, you're SOL.
  9. I remember when 7-Win Steve was considered an insult rather than a goal.
  10. If they are hard workers but just suck at football, then I suppose there's not much harm in keeping them if it helps APR (I have no idea how that works). If they are a locker room cancer, then process them, even if it hurts APR.
  11. SMU with the quality troll of Ags
  12. Notre Dame NIL article from The Athletic
  13. Also, dark money for all the smaller pre-signing stuff like $60K for official visits (2003 rate), airfare for unofficials, pre-paid Visa when you visit (do they still do this or am I just an old?), commitment, $$ if you don't visit school X, etc. There could also be some one-offs after signing like the UL OL that said he wouldn't practice until he got $1500 for some random expense he had. Seems to me the big difference is NIL replaces the old school post-signing payroll.
  14. Antonio Cromartie says he got $60K per official visit in 2003 (Auburn, Alabama, Florida, FSU, Michigan). I didn't realize it was that high back then. What's the rate today?
  15. Have you seen our transfers we just pulled in? 🤣
  16. Love the recruiting pitch for Arch. 🤣
  17. There’s nothing you can prove and complaining won’t change it but it’s an open secret that if you ain't tamperin', you ain't tryin'
