Some of you really want the guy that got us to the playoffs last year to leave? Yeah Quinn looked terrible but that’s what he does when he doesn’t care. Did you see his interview? Yeah he needs to move on but he will get his year then arch only needs one great one to be #1 pick.
This post fucking sucks. 1. No one wants Quinn to leave wtf and 2. I want minimum 2 more years of Arch wtf

It was a mixed bag. Kobe Black having a rough day. Filsame putting his helmet in his hands after taking a poor angle on Thatcher TD (which was funny). Those are can be chalked up to youth. Brooks blowing a coverage and Taafe having some rough moments are concerning
But props to Brooks for easing up on that one deep ball to Bond. He could have lit up Isaiah but understood the assignment yesterday .

Should be a fantastic Sunday with a stacked leaderboard and a course with tons of scoring opportunities.

I didn’t say he looked better or worse than Maalik last year. Just presenting a data point that says spring games are not all that indicative of performance in real games.
Right. And I'm rejecting your data point.

Arch looked great today. Of course Malik Murphy wrecked shop in the same game last year.
Arch looked much better today (and threw a lot more passes) than Maalik last year.
Arch looked lost a year ago. He looked anything but lost today. He's clearly absorbing Sark's playbook at a rate that should make us very happy.

quinn is going to fucking dominate during the 2024 season. all these HSO's after a spring game are laughably predictable
I agree. But you can't dismiss what we saw today from Arch. It was an eye opening improvement over last year's Spring game and the trash time minutes he saw last year. Ewers should be our starter this year, but it's closer than we thought.
Great news is we are in phenomenal shape at QB (Trey Owens!) for a while.

In all seriousness though, the recurring issues with Quinn were the positives we saw today with Arch. Footwork, urgency in the pocket, zip on the ball when needed.
I hope Quinn feels the heat. He needs to get better, and maybe today's game and the talk after will speed up the process.
I'm still on the "start Quinn, and let Arch take over next year" train, but this is a much closer battle than I originally thought. We are a title contender and need to do whatever it takes to be the best team we can be.

I've been very comfortable with and a vocal proponent of Ewers being the no-doubt starter this year and Arch taking over after. IMO its the best case scenario for Texas. I like Quinn. I think he will have a great year.
But the improvement in Arch from last year's Spring game to this year is eye opening. His controlled urgency in the pocket is a sight for sore eyes. Zip on the ball when needed. Yeah, Arch got a much cleaner pocket today then he'll see in live action, but it was still nice to see him handle it so well.
I know this game is "meaningless" but I hope Quinn senses the heat and really focuses on improvement this summer.

Let's check in on Tesla Twitter...

Prime is either the greatest coach in world sports history or completely losing it.

Another horrifying part of social media is the amount of attention products can get due to content providers being investors/shareholders in these respective companies.
Less than 4,000 Cybertrucks have been delivered. I mean, holy shit. But constant support for the product online. If you go to the bios of any of these X accounts, the vast majority state they are Tesla investors.
Imagine having to deal with Geo Twitter back in the 90s as GM investors try to gaslight you into thinking the cars are awesome.

Should I even give a fuck about what engagement farming is?
All you need to know is it's about 95% of the content on X. If Elon actually cracked down on it (he won't), the numbers for this app would plummet to the point that X would be worth less than a Cybertruck.

Literally every major change this gob of goo made to Twitter encouraged engagement farming. Truly the dumbest "genius" in history.

Wait, they've sold less than 4,000 cybertrucks? LOL.

The Longhorn Steakhouse pick of Knob Creek 9 Year, 100 proof is pretty tasty.
Man, that reminds me of the 14 year Longhorn Steakhouse KC 125 proof I got a few years ago. Gave my extra to @NOMAAA. Glorious bottle. RIP.

The current Texans helmet is shit, so I'm not bothered by this alternate look.

I'm not going to spend the time to talk about the roster in detail because you've already made up your mind. Nothing I say is going to change that. So instead of wasting time, we can wait until they play the games and see who is right. How about that?
I haven't made up my mind, so talk to me. I don't follow CU closely. How are things looking this offseason? Is the expectation that OL will be better and give Shedeur more time to make plays and stay healthy? Are they continuing to play Travis Hunter on offense and defense? Has overall depth/talent been added through portal and recruiting?

Agreed but it's such a Cantlay move.
