  1. Musk: USAID CRIME RING. FRAUD LORD NORM EISEN FUNNELS DEEP STATE CASH TO FAMILY NGO!!!!! TREASON. “Those people aren’t related.” Musk: Ah, well, nevertheless.
  2. Easy to see where Border Patrol is. Aside from that, the thing people don’t get is that fed jobs are among the best paying around outside of DC and environs and of course other big markets. Take a look at Appalachia and the South. As I mentioned elsewhere, MAGA is basically designed to inflict max pain on the MAGA base.
  3. “Wanted, old white air traffic controllers. Must be white. Must be male (will check your birth certificate). Whites only.”
  4. It’s good thing you came in for the oil change today. Your blinker fluid is dangerously low. We can take care of that for you today but if you wait another month you’re looking at a full signals hydraulics replacement.
  5. MAGA is famously against sex pests that profit off of fake online universities.
  6. DOGE is basically just the wallet inspector.
  7. Hi America, I’m the wallet inspector.
  8. I hate to tell you this Ryleigh, but it was personal. MAGA and all the people who voted for them do personally hate federal workers and they personally think you are mooch and drain. And you voted for and with them. I encourage you to think of it this way.
  9. Hi Abby, let me show you to the leopard enclosure.
  10. The fucking Tate thing is infuriating. The new face of America, pushing to have rapists and sex traffickers escape accountability because their audience is MAGA. What a disgusting, repulsive image to present to the world. I want to think that this would embarrass people who voted MAGA but I know it won’t. The libs don’t like rape, so rape is now MAGA-adjacent.
  11. New thesis: Y2K meltdown actually happened we just didn’t realize it at the time.
  12. Today I’ve written the editorial team with our new posture: Jeff Bezos should get to do whatever he wants. We will of course discuss other ideas, like how all of Jeff Bezos’ friends should also get to do what they want; and how Jeff Bezos and his friends should have all your money. But the core of our writing will be to defend the simple idea that Jeff Bezos should get to do whatever he wants. I of course recognize the right to other opinions and stances. However, they will not be printed here. Allowing them to be conflicts with other core value of Jeff Bezos doing whatever he wants.
  13. It is good to see Anastasis in his bag fighting the “semi-anti-vaxxer” fight vice foreign policy and defense policy knower. Adcom?
  14. The thing is that the GOP and thus America has the soul of a car dealer. Rent-seeking, grasping, anti-competitive, dependent on stacked decks, and convinced that they were born on third because of their innate talent and competence. The car dealer is the American feudal lord or nobility. The car dealer is given a territory which he possesses and which is inheritable, a larger lord may buy his right or marry into it but the peasantry can’t purchase an RMA. The great houses only get bigger, the minor nobles only shrink, the bloodline only becomes more incestuous. It is inherently rent-seeking and is extractive, neither the manufacturer or client receives a benefit and the car dealer’s position is ultimately secured by the government. And yet the car dealer believes their little fiefdom and the rents they pay extract are the essence of the free market. Imagine an entire economy and government with the mentality of the grubbiest Hyundai dealer in a mid-major metropolitan area. That’s what we have.
  15. Moving feds out of NCR to red states (this is the plan) is going to be a sort of poison pill because it will turn red districts blue in a hurry.
  16. It’s kind of radicalized me to be honest, I used to think these were complicated legitimate grievances that we’d not done a good job of validating and addressing. But it turns out that it’s just anger and wanting to make other people hurt cause you’re angry. “We are going to end all the good jobs in your shit town, we’re gonna make it impossible to get a new hip, we’re gonna raise prices at the WalMart, we’re gonna make online shopping prohibitive! But— no trans in the bathrooms and the fed next door will be just as poor and unemployed as you!” Ok, have at it. Fuck you, enjoy it:
  17. All arguments with MAGA end when you realize that only first principles that exist are spite and willing ignorance.
  18. Really enjoying the new MAGA post office discourse and the complete lack of awareness that Amazon, FedEx, and UPS don’t function without USPS. But I honestly hope this happens. Between once a week mail delivery, cutting government jobs, slashing Medicaid and Social Security, and tariffs it’s almost impossible to imagine a program designed to inflict more pain on MAGA’s voter base. Enjoy it, rural old America. It’s even funnier because you’re all too dumb to realize you did it to yourselves. LOL.
  19. Absolutely. People need to understand that things like the National Parks, libraries, city green spaces, good public schools, museums— are an affront to Elon and his ilk. They truly hate the fact that something like America’s Crown Jewels are just there available for basically anyone to enjoy. Exclusivity becomes the highest value of being extraordinarily wealthy and nothing can be a bigger flex than ensuring only the supremely wealthy have anything approaching a decent quality of life. The super-rich literally cannot enjoy the view from Big Bend’s Window with the knowledge that you can enjoy the same view.
  20. Gangster mentality— everything is leverage, nothing can be mutually beneficial, terms can always change. Even talking about this is deeply irresponsible. It is true that the U.S. is the major supplier of intel for sharing but FVEY divides responsibilities along thematic and geographic zones and losing its capabilities would seriously disrupt U.S. awareness. Also— it’s hard to see the rest of the Anglosphere accepting Canada getting the boot.
  21. Elon is Schrodinger’s DOGE administrator, both the head of DOGE and not at all related to DOGE depending on who looks in the box. This is a repeated pattern in that all across the agencies there are people in roles who exercise real power beyond their defined titles and boxes. All administrations do that to some extent, but the scope is unprecedented as is the willingness to not even pretend like there is someone actually correctly exercising authority. And of course, very dictatorial. Foreigners will begin playing Kremlinology with this admin although instead of the May Day parade, it’s who is playing golf or sitting at the POTUS table in Mar-a-Largo.
