  1. Well, I’m going off of 9.95 reports that Patterson and PK think the scheme was not the issue and it’s all a personnel issue. I think even Sark said as much in a press conference.
  2. This may be sunshine pumping but I can certainly see a 7-5/8-4 type season with optimism heading into 2023. The floor at QB will be higher and by the end of the year I fully expect QB play to be a plus. I also think WR will be greatly improved with Neyor and Billingsley. Offensive line will continue to be below conference average early in the year and should show out later in the season. I think the offense will give us a lot of optimism, especially late in the year. The defense, unfortunately I think is going to frustrate the hell out of us. Since we made no change in strategy or coaching and are relying solely on better players being the only solution, it’s going to be fucking ugly early in the year. I expect multiple coaches getting fired up to and including the coordinator. Unless Ford makes a huge leap at LB and we magically find two above average safeties right away I cannot imagine good things early in the season.
  3. I actually thought he was the most underrated recruit in the class. He was a violent MF’er in high school and I thought he could have been a solution at linebacker. But now I’m afraid he is a tweener and destined for a career on special teams.
  4. They lost all credibility and objectivity when they gave Card an NIL deal. On top of that, Nahlin is a condescending cunt to all of his subscribers. You combine the two and you get that toxic sewage masking itself as football discussion .
  5. I was about to say I learned what it meant from season five of The Wire.
  6. They are used to weak armed QBs with accuracy and attitude issues at Nebraska. I’m sure several local grain elevators will sponsor him.
  7. This guy and his dad can go eat a bag of dicks. He just cannot stop shitting on Texas.
  8. This isn’t just the “Trumpie”. Literally a few posts above there people calling Trump a traitor and blaming this on him. It’s all so childish not to mention completely wrong.
  9. Yes I saw. And it’s fucking stupid and I completely disagree with the take.
  10. I realize this is the cloak room and this is asking a lot, but those of you making this entire situation about Trump or Biden- you do realize this has fuck all to do with the US, right? This is a sociopath that believes he can recreate the Soviet Union by force. Not everything is about your personal political beliefs.
  11. Boss move. Fuck Russia and the murderous tyrant Putin.
  12. If you watched the events of the last 24 hours unfold and your first instinct was to think about how this was Biden or Trump’s fault you need to examine how you look at things. It took just a few posts for this to go tribal.
  13. It only took the usual suspects about three posts to turn this into their usual cultural war fight.
  14. I expect a “trending to Texas” post from Nahlin right before he picks Arkansas.
  15. Some of us are dad’s in our 40’s, you fucking cunt.
  16. I doubt that. Anything is possible but there is too much money involved. And that probably would only make things worse.
  17. I wouldn’t lose one minute of sleep if Joe Rogan never recorded another podcast again but there is something disturbing about the release of this clip and the timing over the controversy of his vaccine comments. Of all of the criticisms of him, has anyone who knows or worked with him ever said he was racist?
  18. Citing player buy in as a reason to see improvement is the literal definition of hope as a strategy.
  19. The optimistic view for 2022 is we have probably found a long term solution at QB, improved WR/TE and odds are the offense is really going to be exciting to watch. The pessimistic view is the fact that Sark took the Charlie Strong QB Solution to the defense. By merely hoping things will get better, he’s probably already setup that unit to fail. Our entire hopes rest on Gary Patterson sprinkling fairy dust from a distance on the unit and coaches. I fully expect PK to get fired early in the year and 2022 to be far less successful than it could have been as a result.
  20. The play in the Kansas State game where the 4.99/40 QB blows right past him.
  21. Has Tim Brewster now worked for about 30 teams?
