  1. Yes, the travel will be hard. I wonder if he can afford plane tickets to come home or to have his parents come see him whenever he wants? If only he could somehow get money....
  2. Yes, I'm sure they "know" how hard that must have been for him. I bet he was was crying in his pillow all night like ou fans do.
  3. I mean...you have already asked, so you might as well make your move to find out.
  4. Damn. Seems like it might as well have been in the 90s. Crazy how 23 years have gone by so fast.
  5. I'm not being a douchebag, I'm pointing out he wants an audience because he's a "look at me" guy. How many players and coaches who have retired due to illness have had a medical team accompany them to "discuss cancer". Like no shit it's deadly. 80% of people with bladder cancer survive, it's not stage 4 colorectal cancer. Who calls a press conference to announce they had their bladder removed? You don't need an audience, it should be private. Don't be a daft dick. EDIT: For the record, I'm hoping the worst is behind him, but he doesn't need an audience. It should be a private matter, are you confused? Would you hold a press conference? Almost 20 million people in the US have cancer, and people far more important than Deion Sanders, and they don't say "Hey, everyone, let me tell you about bladder cancer." I don't see these people holding press for their illness. Do you? Don't act Pius like this is some revelation that people are just now finding out bladder cancer exist. He's a narcassist. He was a great player, but remove his football career and would you have sat there and held on to every word? No. No you wouldn't. You're being a stan for a guy because he either played for your team or because he was a great athlete. I still wish him nothing but the best and hope he's past the worst. He's already lost toes, and he's not in great health. That's all I'm saying about it. Agree or disagree, I don't care. We both know it was just to get eyes on him.
  6. Great movie. If you haven't seen it, check out Dog Soldiers.
  7. As much as I want to see this, I just can't knowing that Jared Pedo is into those younger than 18. He's a creep and a weirdo, even without the allegations. His method acting is annoying. So, if he weren't a cult leading alleged pedo, I might like his movies, but I ain't into that shit and taking advantage of teenagers. If it's a good movie, fine. But his band sucks, and I'll die on that hill, too.
  8. I was bummed to hear that it's not set in the same time as Alien, it's its own thing. Regardless, I'm looking forward to it. Fedé Alvarez tried to talk to him and he blew him off. Sounds like a douche. What's the point in making an Alien series that has no connections to the films?
  9. Saw a screening of Weapons and it was pretty fucking good. I'm too lazy to find the thread on this, but I will say that it's weirdly funny, creepy, haunting, but better than Barbarian. Cregger might be the next next real deal. Went from Whitest Kids U'Know to Wrecked, and now he's all-in on horror, and he's, imo, better at delivery than Peele. I like both, but Get Out seems to be JP's Magnum Opus thus far. Anyway, Weapons is worth the watch in theaters.
  10. Just for the record, I had nothing to do with this.
  11. I'm with you. He's just a "look at me" guy, but he is who he is. But yeah, a game in Boulder would be the tits. Haven't been there in...Jesus...when was the last time we played there? Boulder is absolutely stunning, and has so many things to do after the game for the weekend. I'm all for it. Edit: Since you brought up he huffs his own farts, I read an article where he went into a meeting before the draft and asked where the team picked, and when they said something like 6 or whatever, dude straight up got out of his chair and said I'll be gone before then. Kind of a baller move. Lol
  12. Bro, his entire production on Liquid Swords for GZA is untouched, imo. He's the best producer in the industry. Plus the man has some serious acting chops. Have you seen the movie Clean with Adrian Brody? Brutal, but he goes hard. And let's not forget him in Nobody. I wish the Gravediggaz were still around. Man, he really made those first two records into classics. Edit: And yeah, his production on Return to the 36 Chambers is almost a perfect record.
  13. Looking back, Blair Witch is...not good. Like, at all. It was a niche film that spawned (or at least brought to the forefront the FF crap. Some good, some so shitty they're unwatchable). But I'm also the person who really likes As Above, So Below. 🤷‍♂️
  14. RZA is undefeated is being a bad ass in everything. Forest Whitaker is awesome, too. The whole damn movie is great.
  15. I really hope the worst is behind Deion, but God damn he's such a narcassist. He needs his medical team with him to make an announcement about removing his bladder because of cancer? He couldn't just sit down by himself and say what happened? What a clown show. I don't wish anyone with a life-threatening illness bad will, but for fucks sake, have your kids and wife with you and announce it and ask for well wishes, which I am sending his way. But his narcassism is just too much for me.
  16. We all know RJ Young is a douchefart, but he did say something nice about Texas and Derrick Cooper. He said when watching his film he reminds him of Eric Dickerson, and Adrian Peterson, as he looks for inflict violence and pain to anyone in his way. He of course admitted to get under Texas fans skins that he also has some Demarco Murray in him (I'm not sure how that would get under our skins since Murray was a hell of a good college and pro RB). Edit: He said Texas is getting a dominant RB and we're not going to slow down from stacking talent year after year and get better year after year. He made it abundantly clear that Sark will always have a 1k RB, and even used Wisner as an example. He also mentioned that we haven't had a punishing RB since Foreman, but he listed all the great RB'S he's produced (Bijan, Brooks, Wisner, Najee Harris, etc).
  17. First 2 are pretty great. Hell, the one they released on Hulu is actually solid. Dude, The Color Out of Space is one fucked up movie. I hadn't read the Lovecraft version so I went in blind. Seeing those kids merge together was...something. Great movie, tho. I can't turn down a Nic Cage movie, especially if it's weird as hell. Loved Mandy. You don't even need to take actual LSD to get the experience. As a bonus Nic Cage disturbing movie, 8mm is really, really solid.
  18. Tempting. Let me think on it. Aggy usually starts off like shit, and Reed kinda sucks (and by kind of, I mean he's terrible). I'll get back with you. Hit me with a DM before the season.
  19. Shit, they could expand it to a 64 team playoff and those window lickers would still miss out.
  20. I was a bit surprised that Miller has never made one Final Four. 3 EE's is pretty good, so maybe with Texas money and brand he can get over the hump. I trust Del Conte.
  21. We definitely need the guy who killed the USFL league to dip his toes into college sports. He's a genius. No CR, but I don't give a fuck about any party, and I definitely don't want any of those nerds putting their hands on our beautiful pastime.
