If Hudson can come back in fall healthy and lives up to his billing, that would be really nice. Could be a big upgrade to one of the guard spots, and we figure to get a big upgrade at the LT spot with Anderson. If Kerstetter builds on his freshman year and improves some, then maybe - maybe - the OL won't be maddeningly terrible. .

You take that cautious optimism and stick it up your ass sir. I just did a cell phone flop out for the CFP!

YES.  The Dolphins, Broncos and Patriots all need to go back to what they wore in the 80s, stat.  Looks fantastic.

Dolphins absolutely, those are perfection. I like the 90s + Broncos unis and the Brady era Patriots/ Ohio Glory ripoffs better.

I’m more concerned about the offense we run, than whether Herman is calling plays. I’ve watched OSU for years and always felt frustrated by their offense. I went and reviewed the scoring stats for OSU over the last several years and for the most part it was good. But, OU’s scheme seems vastly superior. Yet, OU blows it in big games. I has confuzed. Nothing reconciles.

tOSU's scheme is better in big games because it is a power running scheme that will wear down opponents. Finesse offenses can be shut down by the right personnel, and OU runs into that at times when they face elite defenses. It is not as sexy most of the time, but you usually look up and see them up over 40 points at the end of the day.

Am I setting myself up for disappointment if I expect Herman to call plays?

Yes, unless we come out against Maryland and shit the bed on offense. Then I could see Herman axing Beck to stem the criticism like Charlie did with Watson.

Reading the article, he didn't really seem to commit over their football team, other than Terry Price. He seems to have committed because those weirdos are a constant pep rally. If that's what he wants, he chose the right school if it was between them and Texas.

If you can embrace the weirdness, want your proverbial cock sucked by middle aged white men, see male cheerleaders with skinhead hair-dos, fat chicks in puff painted overalls, fake army men yelling about uncovering and walking on the grass... if that seems like "home" to you, you made the right decision.

I could respect Adrian Peterson for wanting to "win championships". But, he got to watch Vince in a confetti shower. Probably on Mama's TV. They're kids. Mine aren't any smarter on life decisions.

It's a lost battle. I won't lose any sleep over it. The one kid talking shit continuously on Twitter just daily reinforces what an idiot he is.

Herman always says that aggy is a really good school for a very specific kind of person, and I agree with him. As inconvenient as that may be, Leal may be the kind of kid that really jives with the whole aggy vibe. How else would you describe the insane 180 he pulled without going to the obvious "HE WAS PAID!" statements? Jimbo has a competent recruiting staff that will pull some kids. It happens. That is what makes this fun.

At this point I'd kinda be surprised if his career totals surpass that. He's at 29 catches for 536 yards, 3 TDs now.

Is just under 19 yards per catch good? Beck employing the Greg Davis offense with DJ Munroe.

Tebow is irritating, but even his biggest critics have to admit that personally, he's a standup guy. Manziel defines douchiness and everything that is wrong with America. If you like Manziel, you suck and should be ashamed.

  8. We will have most likely 2 new starters on the line game 1 plus the return of a healthy Beck. If you get optimistic and call Anderson and Williams a push from last year, that leaves you with 1 spot that could have significant improvement with new personnel. That is still only 20% of the line. Add in familiarity of scheme, offseason gains, and better coaching, and I think it is reasonable to expect the line to be about 40-50% better than last year overall. Newsflash, still not great, but most likely serviceable.

Exactly. We are going to throw it around a ton in the spring game. Our receivers will have huge numbers. Our offense during the season is what is important.

I would love for Herman to ban Orlando from running lightning in the spring game and let the offense run up and down the field.

We just need to show him we actually have a functioning passing offense.

Btw, the new OC at LT is in the middle of installing a lot of Herman's concepts and plays as LT's new offense. Wilson knows the scheme and he really likes it. He just needs to see UT execute it as well as LT... *runs and ducks*

You know... thats fair. I aint even mad.
