  1. TexAgs - Comedy Gold, Jerry, Gold. Trying to confirm is this is a real quote. So hope it is: Press to Leach: "Why the success vs TAMU?" 2,493 Views | 21 Replies | Last: 6 min ago by Skillet Shot Agsrback12 6:44p Leach: scratching head "not really sure, I've not really had to do much. They always line up in 3 man fronts and also give away what they are going to do. So truthfully, they have just handed it to me time and time again"
  2. Glorious from TexAgs - and they have this clown locked up for 8-9 yrs at $90 million: JohnLA762 6:19p AG I don't think Scott Frost could be this bad…
  3. Hmm, score looks similar to another game last year. Think Frog goes Turtle Tom/PK/Sark and blows this one?????? TD 6:41 Jared Wiley 2 Yd pass from Casey Thompson (Cameron Dicker Kick) 3 plays, 55 yards, 1:29 17 35
  4. Yep - proven formula for beating Texas. Step 1 - put in backup QB. Step 3 Profit.
  5. I actually had to write it down after he said it I was so surprised.
  6. Point: Sark: "For the most part we blocked pretty well in the run game" Counterpoint: Modern Analytics and Common Sense: Take away the two long runs of 40 and 22, rush stats were 28 rushes for 87 yards (3.1 yds/carry). RJ averaged 1.7 yds/carry on 9 carries. Every Wildcat play. You did not.
  7. This is what worries me in the new wild west of NIL/Transfer (Free Agency) that CFB has become. Nothing stopping anyone from G(ing)TFO these days.
  8. Holy crap that is pathetic, and worse conference record than Chollie! JFC (or JFKFC) whichever is most appropriate in this case.
  9. Unfortunately I had to live McWilliams 2-8 (Last 7 games of 1988/1st 3 games of 1989). But yes it has been a while and never thought I would have to even remotely compare to those days. This one of the worst (there were so many to choose from though!). Announced attendance was 49,000 (out of 77,800) which means there were realistically 30,000-40,00 empty seats. God that was depressing. At least we had the strippers to entertain us! Baylor (5-6,4-4) vs. Texas (5-5,4-3) Date: Nov 25, 1989 Site: Austin, Texas Stadium: Memorial Stadium Attendance: 49081 Score by Quarters 1 2 3 4 Score ----------------- -- -- -- -- ----- Baylor.............. 10 7 26 7 - 50 Texas............... 0 0 0 7 - 7
  10. Really hoping for the best and hoping Ewers is the 2nd coming of Black Jesus (really not possible but maybe in the same greater tri-cities area, but they were both consensus 5*), and really hoping for a turnaround (I had to live the McWilliams years while at UT, and then our one year of redemption ended on a BIT of a sour note when I went to the Cotton Bowl vs The U after celebrating NYE in 7 time zones) but until then....this^^^^^^
  11. Also posted on the Fire PK thread but here is the absolutely predictable results of doing that: 🤬 This sample accounts for 71% of RJs carries against Alabama/Tech, some from the Wildcat and some not (and the ones not in this sample are a whopping 4-8 yds) - .8 yds/carry. Assuming RJ is at least 6 ft. tall (No Kyler 🤣), literally falling down facing forward at the LOS will get a better YPC. 2nd & 12 at TEX 24 (7:14 - 2nd) Roschon Johnson run for a loss of 2 yards to the Texas 22 1st & 10 at ALA 47 (1:35 - 3rd) Roschon Johnson run for 3 yds to the Alab 44 2nd & 10 at TTU 17 (2:58 - 1st) Roschon Johnson run for 1 yd to the TexTc 16 1st & 10 at TEX 31 (8:41 - 2nd) Roschon Johnson run for 3 yds to the Texas 34 3rd & 1 at TEX 38 (1:58 - 2nd) Roschon Johnson run for no gain to the Texas 38 4th & 1 at TEX 38 (1:45 - 2nd) Roschon Johnson run for 2 yds to the Texas 40 for a 1ST down 4th & 2 at TTU 32 (12:48 - 3rd) Roschon Johnson run for no gain to the TexTc 32 1st & 10 at TTU 38 (5:03 - 3rd) Roschon Johnson run for a loss of 2 yards to the TexTc 40 2nd & 10 at TEX 25 (1:33 - 3rd) Roschon Johnson run for 2 yds to the Texas 27 2nd & 6 at TEX 29 (7:11 - 4th) Roschon Johnson run for 1 yd to the Texas 30
  12. My god - reading that quote. Can someone post that on PK's door in Belmont? Assuming he still has an office Monday (praying he does not!!!).
  13. Amen! The utter lack of imagination in this formation of having RJ take the snap, sit there long enough let the D line get penetration, and then run right into the D line, is appalling.
  14. Truth, or to quote Cameo/Vanilla Ice: "Word up to ya mother" ^^^^^^^^^^
  15. Out of Steve's 9 losses, 4 had double digit leads in the 2nd half (OU,OSU,Baylor, TT), 6 had leads in the 2nd half or overtime (4 double digit + Alabama, Kansas). That is some Ricky Vaughn-esque closing ability there, Clark.
  16. 4th quarter Tech 2022 = 2nd/3rd quarter OU 2021. Bye!
  17. Fire PK literally right f-in now!!!
  18. 100,000,000,000,000% agree!!!
  19. Tech 5-7 on 4th down. Can we not fire f-in PK and appoint Patterson DC? Joke!!!
  20. That is hilariously awesome! Amusing how their official web page still has this nonsense. Right in line with all of their other made-up turditions. MEMBERSHIP All prospective members of the Aggie Band are required to have had both high school playing and marching band experience as well as pass an audition with a director. Prospective cadets will be asked to play a prepared piece of music and demonstrate their sight-reading skills by sight-reading a march.
  21. Umm...no. Not BS, so you can love it - surprised the hell out of me, too. The instrument he carried around was the tuba but good ol' aggy can't call it a tuba because it starts with "tu" so he called it the bass horn - in case you need more aggyness. His brother was in the corps/band and 95% sure he could not play either, as I never saw him play an instrument in HS either.
  22. Had a friend in high school ended up playing in the aggy band. I asked him how, since I've never seen him play an instrument. He said he doesn't play. They had so few people qualified to play instruments they had to fill out the band with people faking playing just for show. Strange thing is he had the band CDs and liked to play them so he could listen to himself not play. True story which should surprise nobody. So when they spout all that BS about being nationally known, I always laugh. If only everyone knew what a fraud they were just like the rest of the school. Ha!
  23. So this is the ad that pops up when I click on the football board??? Has Surly been hacked???
  24. Tennessee has now guaranteed themselves 5 more years of not winning an NCAA Title! Will Vegas take that bet, because I would bet literally my entire house on that. 🤣 KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee has rewarded men's basketball coach Rick Barnes for winning the Volunteers' first SEC tournament championship in 43 years with a contract extension through the 2026-27 season.
  25. No dumbass! Rick Barnes has 0 titles and that is a direct quote from a man paid literally millions of dollars to win titles. Please let me know which of the above are incorrect. I’m waiting….
