  2. Let's tell people that have little to no contact with the outside world that we won't shelter them. Damn.
  3. We spent a long weekend in Havana in November of 2018. I echo Harrison's comments.
  4. I'd rather a really nice Barolo or Super Tuscan or a higher end Brunello. I'd take any of those over most California cabs.
  5. The beaches are on the northern side almost exclusively. The Coral Bay side is the rockier side of the island (more exposed). The eastern sides of the islands tend to have less beaches for the most part.
  6. The Mexico part of the Caribbean isn’t really much like the rest of the Caribbean.
  7. My next charter will be St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
  8. We received the DocuSign today so it appears that the process is coming to a close for us.
  9. Count me among that group. I’m not sure if we’d survive 2020 without PPP. Our 2021 growth is off the charts with no slowing down in sight.
  10. BVI quarantine has been lifted. Day trips to White Bay!!
  11. The new hell is funding the second round of EIDL loans. It's a disaster.
  12. RIP Caneel Bay. Perhaps someday it will be back.
  13. Apologies if it seems like I'm trying to dissuade you. There's just a ton of differences in the two islands including the vibe on the island. Enjoy your trip!
  14. Stay in Cruz Bay and you can taxi or ride the taxi bus to beaches. St. John is 60% national forest and covered with trails. St. Thomas is the single most visited cruise ship destination in the world so you get all that comes with that. Yes, it is easy to get to St. J from Red Hook and quick.
  15. It's an easy day trip. Just take the ferry from Red Hook and 15 minutes later you're on St. John. When you spend a little time on St. John you'll wish you'd chosen it as your destination. Yes, it is that much better.
  16. As soon as they released the forgiveness rules. I think it was late April.
  17. Round 2 forgiven. Note arrived in today’s mail.
  18. Damn, it’s been a while for me. I need to get back there.
  19. Yep, which is why I suggested hitting Mudjin Harbor on Middle Caicos. It's a nice day trip from Providenciales and of course you have that beautiful water to look at.
  20. Bay Bistro is really good. For something different take the ferry to North Caicos and rent a car. Drive across the causeway to Middle Caicos and go to Mudjin Harbor which is the prettiest little harbor you've ever seen (it's not a harbor it's a cove) and explore the aptly named Dragon Cay. There's a restaurant at the top of the hill with an amazing view.
  21. I guess we were one of the lucky ones. That little bank in south Texas already got us the paid note for forgiveness #1 and is working on forgiveness for #2. I wish the SBA was as efficient. We are approved for our increased EIDL loan but they seem to have a huge backlog when it comes to the modification of the loan and disbursement.
  22. The only ones I have found worth a damn are those of vineyards that I love and even those have filler bottles in most shipments.
  23. But rent and health insurance premiums are IIRC.
  24. In preparing for the move I came across a few bottles of this I'd forgotten that I have. It should be right in the wheelhouse about now.
