  1. I’m sure it’s been said here other than “more Arch”. But I’d suggest to not go watch all of Arch’s highlights this year. I’m no coach, but we would be in the title game if he was our guy. Granted, I don’t think Quinn was the reason we lost. (See OL). But he wasn’t the answer to winning a title either. I’m a forever believer in the “need a mobile qb to win in college football “ camp. They don’t have to be Vick or VY, but they need to be a threat every play with their legs. Quinn was a threat, maybe once a game. If you go watch all of Arch’s games this year. Man. The offense changes. The play calls change. We get rollout play calls, he moves up in the pocket when there is pressure. He picks up yards when plays are broken down. It’s something to watch. I wish we could have seen more. I get that Sark must have had an agreement with Quinn to let him be the man, but man, Arch was the answer, and the only way we could have had a chance this year. I really believe that . I appreciate Quinn and all he did for Texas. But, next year can’t get here fast enough.
  2. I hate this offense. F. We can’t score from there?! Fuck
  3. Ohio State making the plays when needed. 7 min to see if we can do the same
  4. Of course. False start. I hate our offense . Hate it. I cannot believe I’m saying that, but I HATE it
  5. Problem is, if that was done with 5 min left in the first, 3rd, whenever, no problem. With 20 Seconds left in a half? Criminal. Stupid. Abysmal. Whatever horrible adjective you can think of.
  6. I can’t get over the stupidity of that last defensive play. Ohio State is better coached. Simple as that.
  7. Chip just made our coaches look stupid. Why the F did we bring pressure? The only time you didn’t need to. Weird.
  8. He’s short. F it. Put in Arch and read option.
  9. Offense (best gif I could find here)
  10. I've sold a couple of pairs of boots on Ebay. May not get too much, but it is something. Maybe $150, but probably less. I know that isn't close to MSRP, but used boots seem to not have a good resale value. Guess it depends.
  11. Texas is gonna steamroll Penn State.
  12. Hah if you want. They also have English audio hah
  13. Just watched this movie this past weekend and it is BADASS. Good "ol fashioned" kung fu kinda movie with crazy action scenes. Anyone watched it? I cannot get over the fight scenes. You can stream it on Amazon. Here is the trailer
  14. Two of the best defenses in the country, but I keep getting a weird "this is gonna be wild ass" type game, maybe not 27-23 like I first thought. I am thinking more like 38-34 Texas. Heh.
  15. I've used an IPTV service called "Streemingly" for over a year and it is great. Has just about any channel you could want from across the globe. Pay per view events, UFC, etc. I am paying for the "3 streams at once" package which is like 45 GBP (yeah, he is based in England) every 3 months. Or 15 a month. Anyway, works for me. If you don't want to do a service, just get a free trial for Youtube TV, Hulu, etc.
  16. I was going to start a thread, but have y'all seen "Maharaja"? It is an Indian "action" film. Pretty damn good.
  17. I am staying positive. Texas 27 Ohio State 24 Two of the best defenses in the country. Meaning the game will probably be more like 45-42. haha. Howard throws two picks. Arch scores a rushing TD. Ethan Burke, Collin Simmons (2), and Moore get sacks. Auburn goes 2-for-3 on field goals. If we rush for 100+ we win. If not, we lose.
  18. Heh. Thank you for this. Believe me, I just want to do Manchester and London. The wife is pushing hard to "fit things in". I definitely don't agree with it!!!! So this helps my argument!
  19. We are planning to take a trip this Spring Break to England, with a few days in Paris and either Amsterdam or Switzerland (Wife really wants to make this work). Here is what we have so far, but was looking for any input on great restaurants (nothing TOO fancy, just whatever you like) and things to do. The highlight of the trip is that we are flying into Manchester, not London, and going to the Man City vs Brighton match on March 15. Can't wait! So, our itinerary will look something like this: March 14-15 Manchester, England - I've read/seen Rudy's Pizza is a must visit. For the game, we found hospitality tickets through the Man City site. Little more expensive, but we just had to do it. It has been our dream to see a Premier League match. One of the main reasons we are going at Spring Break. March 16-19 London - Been told by a couple of friends that Fallow is a place we need to try. Officina 00 for Italian. Borough Market for more food. This will be our first time to London, so we will do the typical touristy things. We have one day that is fairly open. Should we take a trip out to see Windsor Castle? Go to Oxford? Somewhere else? We could take this extra day and head to our next destination earlier if we want. Our next leg will seem pretty rushed perhaps. March 20-21 Amsterdam/Zurich - haven't decided. We would probably fly from London to Zurich, train from London to Amsterdam. Not a lot of time, but trying to make it work. March 22-24 Paris - Our kids haven't been, so they want to see the usual highlights. Leave from Manchester March 25.
  20. I still want to see more Arch.
  21. Do I think we have some major issues still? Yes. Do I think Ohio State will be an issue? Yes. Are we in the national semifinals? Yes. That says something. I questioned a lot of shit today and all year, but dammit, here we are. Maybe because our talent is top notch. Or maybe it’s because we are a good team. I don’t know, but I’m glad we are still dancing. Can’t wait for the Cotton Bowl!
