Cover words.  Nod and a wink.

You are lying.    Ford's racism or lack thereof was not a part of his political persona.  His pardon of Nixon and his saying Poland was not a Soviet influenced country, sure.   But I voted for him, and attacks on him were not in any way racism based.

2 -- it look s like the KEY basis for the SCOTUS opinion here were statements by some of the Co. commissioners that "religious beliefs cannot legitimately be carried into the public sphere or commercial domain, disparaged Phillips' faith as despicable or characterized it as merely rehetorical," and similar statements of the same tone.  They conclude that "The comments thus cast doubt on the fairness and impartiality of the Commission's adjudication of Phillips' case."

This is consistent with several recent court rulings that have taken into account statements made by Trump as to the basis for some of his executive orders ("MUSLIM BAN!")  There is some distinction, as some (but not all) of Trump's statements pre-dated his election to the office, but as they were statements made about the exact policy at issue, that distinction doesn't have much weight.  There's a lesson there for all public officials: if you publicly state a constitutionally impermissible basis for a policy decision, don't expect to get the benefit of the doubt.

This.  So case specific that the right will run with this as a huge victory over the gays, but it just isn't.  I did not read the whole thing.  Was it a do-over for the lower court to make a fact finding in light of some state ass-handedness,  or is it final judgement that the Baker was within his rights under those particular facts?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA! Douche UGA fans can cry into their Oakleys.

For you lucky Texans who do not know the Leg Humpers as well as you should, here is the pictorial presentation of today in football terms.

Now, imagine the white jersey was actually a blue one from BYU...

Oooh. Good one. Very witty.  Yes, counselor. I get that your feelings of superiority make you believe that your SEC affiliation situates you above the fray of lesser conferences.

So go ahead and explain, spell it out for me, because I’m so dense, how your butt-buddies at a and m got bounced so quickly in a “sniff”, Big12 regional.

At least their meltdown against Indiana wasn’t “boring”, was it?

Dude.    I was obviously joking about the boring comment.   The foul catch (that was not a catch) thingy to end the game had just happened, and your pitcher closed it out like a boss.   Awesome finish.   Which is why I congratulated you.     Show me on the doll where the SEC touched you.   You need to get out more.

Look, I  hope the SEC shows well in Supers to be respectable, but I'd rather not have batters familiar with our pitchers having yet another hack at our guys if we get by those FAU assholes....which is not a given at all.    I don't like losing to South Carolina in a final.   I'm sure LSU thought the same thing last year about us.

And I don't give a fuck about Aggy because they are SEC.    But y'all said, "No take backs!", so that's on us.     So anyway, Go Duke!

And smoke a bowl will ya, you're too wound up.

Lost your god damn mind. Link to racist campaign slogans and racist policies passed so far please. I’m told women will lose the right to vote soon and gay marriage will be repealled?

The media ran a Trump is racist because he is a white conservative platform to try to put Hillary in office. It back fired and now they are doubling down.

So - if you don't have a campaign poster that says 'I hate Niggers',  you're not racist campaign?   Good to know.

What is absolutely true is that Trump has outed the racists (who are emboldened and acting out) - and that he has also outed the people, like sandwich here, who are too dim to know that Trump's whole shtick is racist.    Which is a really impressive feat, if you  think about it.    It's like a forever red blinking light in the center of their forehead.   In future years,  all you have to do is ask "What is your opinion of Trump", and you'll have a person's character pegged in one sentence.

  6. Hope you make it to Omaha.   Hell, I hope we make it to Omaha.  A Super Regonal is some dicey shit.

But it would be great to play you again in Omaha.   Long time since 2005.

    Assholes.

You are looking at one instance while I am looking at Brisket as a whole. He sides with liberals on the majority of issues and topics around here. His stances are hardly Republican and look more like that of a Democrat. He is either center-left or left. Take your pick.

What you missed, although I'm not sure how, is that Republicans are no longer Republicans.   You are correct - the new Trump/Palin brand of fucked up GOP-ism is indeed not what many former self-described Republicans can stomach.     My form of Rockefeller Republicanism died quite a while ago, in the Reagan/Bush I era.    But Brisket's Republicanism was alive and well during the Bush II years, although struggling under Rove's machinations.   And then it was put on life support when Palin was nominated, finally dying with Trump.

Short version:  the word "Republican" now means the type of hateful and stupid shit you now embrace.   Loads of former smart non-deplorable Republicans do not embrace it, and are going to fuck you up in November, now that the Hilary factor is absent.

That is some authentic frontier gibberish there hammer.   What does that even mean, in light of the quote you responded to?

These politics threads are full of a bunch of codependent pussies. I’m going back to the football boards.

Where's the butthurt part?  Was there a catfight?

Sooner coach was way unhappy at the call of a catch and a drop- in- transfer, rather than a dropped ball on that line drive to right field.    It would have tied the game if they called it a drop.

    At this point, I’m down.

And I might be pulling for Canada.

It would be worth it to see Aggy lose the Big-12 curling title on the last stone.

Love to start the WCWS with a win over the flea bitten, poop rolling, mange ridden, snot slobbering, leg humping mutts from Athens Georgia, trying to play their betters.        Georgia was Aggy before Aggy became SEC.  Nothing better than to open the game with a win over the fucking worthless Georgia mutts.

In other news,  Sooner lost to U Dub and got butt hurt about it.
