Well, pretty much anything is possible in recruiting, but my guess is, a switch to UT wouldn't be an automatic deal for him as he seems serious about having what he terms "family" already playing for Tech in the form of Ta'Zhawn Henry and Kesean Carter. Who knows though?
Something tells me that Hollywood, Cook, and Jamison would be more than enough to sway him if we came through with an offer

I'm sure this post will lead to many more late surges

Glad to have him aboard.
What is it about Caldwell that makes him standout? That's an unprejudiced question. I don't watch much film and really don't know.
Length? Speed? Camp performance?
Thanks in advance.
Frame and willingness to mix it up. Called a Holton Hill starter kit, but I don't really see it. Would like to see him improve his ball skills.

SEC 18 year olds are just soooo much bigger and stronger and physical! So much better at athletics!! BDF 18 year olds are small and unathletic and soft! This is fact!! Jimbo understands this!!!!
Also, the earth is flat.
They obviously shower with deer antler spray exclusive to the SEC

Would we really take 5 WR this cycle?
Is Houston taking Ellis' spot?
Edit: Very convenient update there EJ.

Please tell me that's a recent edit that somehow still has Kevin Sumlin's signature on it

Some guy on Orangebloods said he's Snapchat friends with BJ Foster and that Foster regularly posts pictures of himself waving cash around. Also something about him driving around in a BMW.
This is mostly accurate, but Foster doesn't regularly post pics of himself doing that. Usually just posts about gaming, He had a snap yesterday of himself in a BMW playing with cash. He's usually smarter than that.

I’m seeing people blast me for saying there will be a commitment tonight. Let me go ahead and publicly defend myself. I never said there will be one tonight. The 👀👀 tweet is me saying there is a few things that are exciting going on. I don’t know when they’ll be released, but it’s fun.
Again, I didn’t promise anything tonight. Thanks for understanding Surly.
Sock alert?
OnaComputer is also 35dimes. Hmm... Intradasting.

I definitely see some Ricky Proehl in his game.

I can only imagine the data manipulation that went into that $112,400 number. Did teachers and bookkeepers get a pay raise recently?
-
That was one of the most well written commitment notes I've seen in a while.

I'm not sure what lit really means, but that vid was not it.

Don't get your hopes up
Yea, pretty sure we want him going to USC. OU is far more of a player there than we are.

What has that got to do with what I posted? My post was about over the top making stuff up by one of the Longhorn beat writers. Makes for a nice story. But most here seem to get it that it's good fiction.
You do realize that if you accept all that was written in that post as 100% accurate, no grains of salt added, that it doesn't really add up, don't you?
For example, I see 7 in-state WRs and 2 in-state pass-catching TEs with UT offers. You seriously believe all those offers are fully committable? That's more WRs signed than even Sumlin ever did in one season, and posters here regularly skewered him for signing lots of WRs... lol.
Or that UT coaches thought nothing of the decommitment/recommitment drama of Arjei Henderson and Theo Wease? Everything checked out there? Or perhaps they just liked the game those two have?
UT coaches also have 10 offers out for in-state DBs. Plus apparently furiously recruiting DBs from elsewhere. If all of them decided to commit to UT tomorrow is Herman going to accept them all?!
Sometimes it's better to ask questions instead of making assumptions. Do they not teach that in farm school?
-
We are giving him the opportunity to try to play WR. I doubt Bama, another school in his top 8, is even telling him he can try WR.
-
Is that Kirk Johnson three from the right of Herman? Looks taller than I thought.

I’m sure every school plays the game but there are certain schools that blatantly cheat above others. How do you think Ole Miss was getting all these 5 star guys to move to bumfuck Mississippi while their program couldn’t even get to 9 wins.
Look at how a&m pulled random guys last cycle that visited once from OOS. I do think a&m is paying/cheating on another level. Knowing the narcissistic prick Herman is, I’m sure it’s eating him up inside that he’s losing these battles. I’m sure he will lead reporters in a certain direction and at some point we will see reporters drop articles the same way Mack Brown did with Will Lyles. This will atleast get those aggy fucks to scale back their cheating once the spotlight is on them. Atleast i hope this is what happens. That or we open up our bank accounts to make it an even playing field. At this point the ncaa has made it clear they will not police schools. Every damn sec school is doing it. Remember when that Florida db recruit (irving?) was going to commit to us but suddenly committed to Auburn and had Snapchat pictures of him holding stacks of cash. Yeah... 17 year olds don’t have access to that type of money on recruiting visits unless someone is handing it to them.
Auburn had a coach on staff that had been recruiting him for multiple years. He probably got paid something, but they had relationships in their favor too.

Honestly, if Sumlin is able to pull Gunnell. And he comes in and is pretty good as a true freshman I could see Sumlin doing his typical 8-4, 9-3 seasons which would be awesome for Arizona. And then Cucko stumbles to 6 or 7 wins for a couple years... imagine how the sheep will react to that.
A&M has many built-in excuses they can fall back on: SEC, Jimbo needs to get "his guys", Uncle Red bought off the refs, etc.

To give him (extremely minimal) credit, It's fucking weird to offer a QB, cornerstone of your class, this early as a school that is notoriously offer-stingy.
With his offers, dude must be the truth.
Yea, he could be the next Zadock Dinklemann

Someone on TFB asked if the commit was from Texas, and they replied that if answered, then it'd give it away.
So it's probably Tongue.
Liebrock isn't from Texas either.
-
Makiya Tongue would be the most likely. Johnson just said he was slowing things down.
-
Haha, that's some Mack Brown shit.
Also, huge gamble to take an OL that early.

I dunno how official those things are, but to call him solely a receiver? He must have already known this during his recruitment.
