  1. I was at Home Depot and the had a returned Honda. Looks new. $399 marked down to $280. No bag. Had them knock another $100 off. New-ish Honda for $180. Good enough for me.
  2. I’ve got a WD elements external. It’s also helpful if you ever have move stuff to a new unit.
  3. I’m on the fence. Honda above or Ego. Same price. Anyone use an electric on Bermuda.

    Shit My Kid Says

Yeah. That’s what I figured. I’m just sad there wasn’t a punch line. Best I could come with was “turtles like shellfish”.

    Shit My Kid Says

5yo: Dad. I have a joke for you. (Feels proud moment coming) Me: You have a joke for me? 5yo: yeah. What is a turtles favorite food? (Truly stunned as a) great opening, b) I’ve never heard this joke before) Me: I don’t know son, what is a turtles favorite food? 5 yo: pizza ( WTF? That’s not a joke. It’s not funny or punny) 5yo: I’m going to get a pet turtle. And I’m going to name him Tiffany. (Now that’s funny in a what!?! kind of way)
  6. No shit. I have two oaks maybe 10ft apart. I don’t get it. They do this for a living and HOA says I have to maintain two trees. So I either have to live with it, or relocate them a little further apart if water lines even allow it.
  7. Also, use https://www.rtings.com/ to check out your options for TVs
  8. Yeah. Soundbars don’t need a receiver. They usually have HDMI, optical or RCA style stereo inputs. If you use the ARC HDMI input/output, the soundbar / sub will act like TV speakers. They turn on when the TV turns on and you use the TV remote to control the volume. It’s a really simple connection.
  9. I’ve had these for about a week. I like them. They are looser than or not as tight on the thigh other boxer briefs like meundies or den of thieves or even ex officio. Even champion mesh boxer briefs hug tighter in the legs. Very comfortable.
  10. Sound bars are ok. AVSforum people will tell you sound bars are a simple solution but only use them if you have no other choice. If you are doing a common area setup, I think soundbars (plus a sub) are ok and easy to setup. If you are serious about watching movies and feeling the sound, or if you are setting up a true home theater you’d be looking at a receiver and a minimum of three speakers and a subwoofer. Where are you? I ask because if I’m austin A&B tv have some great prices. Frys is another one if they have one on their promo code sales. Sign up for emails to get the code. TV: I went with a Sony because their smart TV interface is android based and updated more frequently than say Panasonic’s interface. Receiver: Yamaha gets good reviews, you can get a great deal on a Denon at Frys. Subs: SVS get high reviews here and elsewhere. Good bang for the buck. Soundbar? I dunno. I have a Panasonic and a Sony set that both work pretty good. Easy to use via ARC.
  11. “That’s the spirit” was the response I’d heard
  12. If he lets that pitch hit him, tie ball game.
  13. I saw two of those movies and still don’t remember him from either.
  14. You want the 30, 60 or 90 second package?
  15. Yeah. Fast forwarded. Hope it wasn’t essential
  16. A mysterious helicopter in the last episode (again?) and garbage lady lets neegan go? WTH? Neegan fighting his no. 2 to the death in this episode and using his traitor against Rick was nice.
  17. You could decrease the font size to reduce the size of the email. /Dilbert
  18. I used a projector for a while. 1) get a screen. I used a flat wall but still the texturing of the paint showed up in faces and it was odd. 2) It was exhausting for certain types of watching. I followed the guides for size and distance but some times it was too big. 3) some projectors are louder than others. It may seem like low fan noise at first but it can be annoying. 4) plan the whole setup and keep in mind how long the cables will need to run. HDMI cables have limits. There are solutions but still a consideration. I started out with the receiver and other equipment close to the projector but it was weird to turn around to change the channel. 5) bulbs can burn out. And they aren’t cheap. I bought the projector in 2009 for $800 and the bulb was $200. My suggestion would be to go and look at a place that has both a projector and a huge TV side by side. The TV looks better to me, even if the size of the screen is smaller.
  19. There’s one for any price point. If you don’t have a delica, that’s a great start. My favorite are the sage lineup. Pick your favorite style. My favorite sage is the Sage 2. They are a great pocket size knife with a deep carry clip and a lot of blade. Want more robust? Paramilitary 2. Native. Delica seem too small? Endura. Or Manix. Flipper? Domino.
  20. Victorinox INOX Seiko Monsters Citizen Solars
  21. Formerly the Seiko Dive Watch thread. I can’t afford a Rolex but I do like me some inexpensive watches. I got a new rubber strap for my SKX007. Jubilee off. Geckota rubber dive strap on. Thought I’d was a good time to revive the Better than the stock rubber strap IMO. Very comfortable. Only $9 https://www.watchgecko.com/zuludiver-pvc-rubber-z20-z22-replacement-watch-strap.php
