  1. Yeah, most seasons, but 84 was by far the best. Losing Ryno hurts more than any player to date. Amazing talent, got Ryno in a package deal with Bowa. If im going back in time, its not to witness major altering events, its the 84 season, with mom and dad, my brother and a Cubs game.
  2. His feel for yardage is unmatched. When he switched clubs on the par 3, landed short, rolled close. Birdie. Wtf man, that's like when you're a kid, all you need is what the sprinkler head says and your eye. His game is so simple and on point.
  3. No HEB means you split between Albertsons and the closest mexican mercado, no fucking around. And when you get back into the land of HEB, you kiss the ground and say a lil thanks.
  4. The Offer, story on how the Godfather went from book to movie. Its fucking great. Maybe I'm in the few here, but I feel that I do more scrolling than watching, but this has me.
  5. Are we going to play that gomer fight song every time we land a 5 star?
  6. About to say a lot of dock work, but dont most docks have a push button? Saw a guy at lakeway marina get both his hands shattered trying to let out during a rise. I still wanna puke.
  7. Today has been glorious, im glad and hope everyone stays safe, but fucking A if this isn't great to see. I feel like its a special holiday, cancel work, everyone go home and enjoy the rain.
  8. Its great to see LT up and the Perd, sorry if you flood, but LTs main purpose is to take the length.
  9. Kerrville and that area are going through it right now and so maybe their politics keeps you from moving there, that's your bad, not theirs. Basing your whereabouts on your neighbor's political views is taxing and is unnecessary. I move around year to year, mostly small city's and big towns (how do we classify this?) El Paso, New Braunsfels, Galveston, San Antonio, Austin and am currently in Uvalde. Every place has been great and every place has their shit you deal with. Out of all of them, id say Uvalde has been my favorite, and that as we know is my personal preference. I'd live in Kerrville, Hunt, Kerr County in a drop of a hat. If the company I l work for said we need you in Kerrville, id say it better be for more than a year! Outside of the metro areas, its all conservative and there's a reason for that. Im sure some are militant, as you describe wanting to avoid, but 97% are not. Small town living is simple and there's plenty of space.
  10. If you know, if you dont, this man had the greatest rant the history of sports. He was unquestionably one of a kind. Too bad the Cubs stunk so bad that he only lasted a season. May he rest in peace.
  11. I dont think Kerrville will change much, it will still continue to grow. Hunt and other parts of the county, who knows, but it will be different
  12. Have the rental company put gas in the car. I do not know how much extra it is, but im not stopping to put a quarter tank back in. Plus, if you're in Oakland, you probably get robbed filling up.
  13. Yeah, looked at the map this morning, know that road and river... im surprised the entire camp didn't go. I say all of that with a heavy heart.
  14. Man, lucky I picked my nephew up last weekend from LA Junta. The good news, is that camp and those people are well prepared.
