  1. Personally, I appreciate that this board is run by temperamental, miserable fans of the program who are willing to embrace an unrelentingly bleak outlook. It's better than the alternative, where you pay a chin-pubed mouthpiece to blow smoke up your ass and ban anyone who disagrees with the party line.
  2. I listened to that yesterday. It was Gerry and Bobby. Gerry said "smooth" an uncomfortable number of times.
  3. https://247sports.com/Player/Blake-Frazier-46133164/ 6'5" and 260 lbs. Seems a little undersized for Flood.
  4. There is some delicious irony about A&M desperately needing tackles and a center and us having a surplus of absolute monsters like Cam.
  5. Can you explain what you mean by this? I know what Herbstreit said about Austin being a cesspool, but that was clearly more pandering to the Aggies in the audience and based on his sympathy for Brown and Strong. Just more generic "boosters run the program" bullshit. I get that McCombs didn't like Strong but those days seem long past. The situation with Texas' boosters doesn't seem any worse than it does at other big programs. In fact, with NIL it's probably better. The administration is an annoying roadblock, but CDC seems like a huge improvement over Patterson. Not giving you shit, just genuinely curious what you mean.
  6. What's with this relevant content? I want to hear more about word-sudoku and how many dicks Kenny sucked in Mexico.
  7. Impressive amount of bullshit, but I enjoyed the following quotes: "In February 2022, ASU Athletic Director Ray Anderson told Arizona Sports' Bickley and Marotta that Desert Financial Arena is in "dire need" of improvements, and he "anticipates ASU will be pivoting to that very quickly." "I don't know what he meant by 'dire,'" Crow said. "You've been there. It's completely functional. It's actually a fine facility and just needs some updates." Completely functional is quite the endorsement, especially for a stadium that looks like it hasn't been updated since the 70's. “There have been no discussions with the Big 12 conference on moving," Crow said. "I mean, there's been discussions between everyone everywhere on all things related to where our conference is going and where stuff's going to end up and what's happening. We are committed to the Pac-12." We haven't talked to the Big 12 about moving, but we've talked to everyone about everything. 🥴
  8. Nice sip of Koolaid, but I gotta ask how long it will be until they're wearing those extra helmet pads on game days? Or rather if it truly does the job, why don't helmet companies make the outer shell at least semi soft? They're called guardian caps. The NFL requires them for practices but not regular season games. The NFL has give two reasons for not requiring them during the season (so far). First, is that the foam grip and friction of the pads could increase neck injuries. Instead of helmets sliding off each other, the caps get hung up and can twist the player's head. Seems questionable but worth investigating before you make them mandatory. The second reason is lack of player buy-in. In other words, they players think they look stupid and don't want to wear them.
