  1. The comments on that video... yikes. Seems like the guy had a mental disorder of some sort. Also, I really have no idea what 'k' word he used.
  2. Honestly, as a short term strategy until elections, that's probably in Ukraine's best interest. But it'd be a hell of a lot easier for us to ask that if we were actually providing significant aid right now.
  3. Honestly, Disu coming out of the game may not be bad for us.
  4. Do we want anyone to heat up? It seems like status quo would be pretty fucking good for us.
  5. The evidence I've seen so far is that the newer Chinese vehicles are pretty comparable to western vehicles. But, then again, who knows if that holds up under comprehensive crash testing.
  6. Big firms in Houston are well over $1,000 for partner level. And god forbid you look up the rates for named partners.
  7. In terms of billed time, no. Paralegals sometimes bill at that level. But that generally assumes there is staff and overhead to pay for. If it all goes to him, then I guess not so bad.

  11. On a train from Brussels to Hamburg right now. Would be really nice to have something similar for the major Texas cities.
  12. Yup. We have the most wind in the country. And we recently surpassed California for the most utility scale solar (California still leads if you count residential solar). That lead is only going to grow over the next 5 years. Unclear if politics will start to slow it down after that.
  13. The lawsuit and resulting order stopping the survey were honestly pretty meritorious. DOE tried to justify requiring the survey as an emergency measures to bypass normally required formal rule making. But, as important as tracking Bitcoin mining energy usage use is, it isn't an emergency that justifies throwing away normal procedures. Frankly, if the DOE had gotten away with it, it would have set a precedent ripe for future abuse.

Of course not. I'm just pointing out the next GOP tactic she is pulling.

And she is now setting the stage to claim election fraud by having her partner "accidentally" vote for her.
  16. It is largely related to how Tesla manufacturers its vehicles. And Hertz' electric fleet was primarily Teslas.
  17. Wow. Those are some numbers.
  18. Price raises and stocking just the highest end models really hurt. But this isn't just an EV thing, trucks in general are piling up. https://www.spglobal.com/mobility/en/research-analysis/january-inventory-trends-advertised-prices-dropping.html
  19. Yup. Had a blast at minute maid that year other than the UCLA lost.
