  1. LOL. Pretty sure half the people in the stands make that XP no problem.
  2. Eh... and we learned that Henry Melton was a bruising back, capable of carrying an entire team, based upon his performance against the Ragin Cajuns and Rice. I'm not saying the game doesn't matter at all. I'm just saying there is a limit to what we learn in games like this. Execution of the basics in live action is way more informative than splash plays against overmatched defenses.
  3. Stop what? I wasn't predicting it. Just making a snarky comment. I couldn't care less if Sark slows the offense down in the second half. We need to work on execution of all plays, including running into a stacked box. We don't learn much by showing that Wingo is faster than everyone for San Jose State's defense.
  4. I'll be more pissed if we don't have a comfortable lead at halftime.
  5. He is paying attention. He just doesn't care because he wants to burn everything down. He is a bad joke and an unbelievable hypocrite.
  6. This is the thing I think is missed. The oline didn't dominate a light a box. True. But it held up a hell of damn bit better than OSU's "best of all time" oline versus our defense. I think, adjusting for the level of competition, our young oline performed pretty well. Not perfect, but good enough. They'll be better against lesser defenses.
  7. The dude made some throws with rushers in his face. Simmons was doing a lot besides rushing the passer, including dropping back in coverage.
  8. Eh. Simmons and the D in general played well. He didn't light up the stat sheet because we didn't really create the situations for it. Ohio State had 200 yards of offense. Bitching about individual defensive stats is misguided. The game plan worked.
  9. What I do like is that Arch competed the whole time. There was no give up. And despite whatever was going on mechanically, he wasn't so overwhelmed that he ever appeared panicked. He was making good decisions for the most the part. This wasn't Card versus Arkansas.
  10. I don't think the day called for screens though based on the way OSU was defending us.
  11. Our dline against their oline was a much bigger mismatch than vice versa. We couldn't punish Ohio State upfront, but at least we weren't being consistently punished either. Everything works better if we connect on the plays that were there.
  12. No he didn't. He got beat a few times, but overall was solid given the defense.
  13. Out of the first 10 throws, three were uncatchable, 2 were barely catchable and made the play very difficult (and weren't caught), 1 was a very bad decision into double coverage. I think that is a pretty good summary of his day.
  14. You're blinding yourself to truth. I'm sorry. He was fucking terrible yesterday. No play calling was fixing that. Blaming that play on Wingo is absurd. You have no fucking clue what you're looking at.
  15. Good god. Y'all are delusional. Arch wasn't kind of bad. He was fucking completely incapable of executing basic plays. Play calling isn't go to fix that. Arch has to play better. And he knows it.
  16. Eh, sort of. Problems in the game: 1-10. Arch's accuracy. 11. Receiver separation 12. Redzone play calling 13. Penalties If Arch hits the broadside of a barn, this a fairly comfortable win and nothing else seems like a big deal.
  17. No. Just no. Arch played very badly. There is no sugar coating that. It wasn't on anyone but him. And that's why I'm confident it gets fixed. Arch isn't going to play that poorly again. Ever.
  18. Arch was throwing short all day. Nothing about that play suggested anything different.
  19. What... that review was ridiculous.
  20. UTSA out thinking itself. The toss to henry would have gone for a lot of yards there.
  21. Arch would have thrown that in the dirt today.
  22. I would prefer it not be a shitty year. I'm ok with a shitty game.
  23. That was a stupid throw.
