Landlord? Let me guess...Joe Biden is the reason you can't afford to buy in some shithole little town?
Why do poor folks support Trump? This guy, that kid who came on here and begged for $2500, makes no sense. If you're poor, you should vote D, that's always been the case...well at least in the past 100 years or so.
Now if they say, well, I supported dems my whole life and it didn't get me jack, then I can see that, but they never say that. Instead, they think some 'rich' fat bastid from NYC is gonna save them.

I wouldn't be surprised if his thinking is 'hey I cut 75% of the staff at Twitter and it's running just fine, the same thing will work at Tesla.'

Appreciate the replies. I don't want to have a wreck and try to figure out fault. I understand yielding to anyone coming my direction even if they illegally changed lanes. That's part of my issue here. technically they are in front of me but going 90 degrees across traffic to make that turn. Plus - Even more frustrating and not in the picture - right past the goofy entrance (about 20 feet) is a second entrance to the same place. That one is much easier to determine fault since the right turn lane has been merged into the existing right lane.
Since you seem to be very familiar with the intersection and traverse it frequently, I don't see how YOU could have a wreck. If you're the guy turning right, you slow the heck down before starting your right turn so as to not get rear ended, then yield and only go when it's absolutely clear. Wait for the light to turn red for the left-turner if you have to.
If you're the guy turning left, watch out for a guy turning right and proceed with extreme caution, like make sure he's come to a complete stop and sees you. Or, better yet, don't turn left and then try to make it into that driveway. Surely there's a better way into that gas station that might cost you a couple more minutes, or another gas station nearby.
Or you could just not pay attention and run into someone and then be righteously claim you had the right of way as you deal with a damaged car and potentially injured people.

Just skimming that list it’s so aggy that the leading tackler is a safety.

This is what I would suggest. On the 1-2 times a year you have your credit run just unfreeze it for the day for the creditor and then change it back the next day
You can schedule an unfreeze when you set a freeze.

Freezing/unfreezing credit is so easy now I don’t know why everyone doesn’t do it.

Yeah unless you've engaged in questionable activities with your bank in the past (not judging), they should refund your money with just a modicum of effort on your part. Further, Citi would also refund any late fees and interest charges, again, unless you have a habit of questionable activity.
I don't see the authorities, or even the bank doing anything beyond that, maybe if your cc payment is in the high five figures.
Couple years back, my wife's (no pics) business account had a check stolen that had been sent out USPS. The image of the check showed that it had clearly been tampered with, the payee was practically written in olde english. Wells Fargo refunded in a couple days upon being presented with the check image. But that's it. And, the check had been deposited into a Wells Fargo account! I forget the amount, less than $5k but more than $1k. So I guess Wells figures it's cheaper to just let it go rather than investigate it.

Oh yeah, after I got conditional approval and scheduled my interview, I got an email from CBP saying 'hey why don't you do Enrollment on Arrival instead?' Since I don't have any trips scheduled, I didn't think much of it. Plus it seems like a tarp! when you get back, oh no sir, sorry, you can't do that here, you have to do it somewhere else 1000 miles away and only between the hours of 1000a and 1005a.

My wife (no pics) had an opportunity pop up to go to the UK in June. She has pre-check, not global entry. Is there any path to getting GE prior to her trip? In not, now much hassle is she in for coming back through DFW?
As I said upthread, i was lucky enough to get GE in about 10 days total, but given all the info in this thread, that would have to be the exception, not the rule. You could give the normal process a try, and as long as you have a cc that will cover the cost, really no harm done.
But I think your best bet is to use the Mobile Passport Control app. I've used it several times at many US airports, but not DFW. The line for mobile has almost always been shorter than the GE line, and in the couple cases where it was not shorter, it was comparable.
I really only got GE because I wanted TSAPre and my cc covered the cost. I think, at least for the time being, the mobile app is plenty good enough

When the trial has started like this one has, jury selected an opening argument set for Monday, there could be no justification to allow defense council to withdraw while it’s going on. Attorneys do not have the right to unilaterally withdraw whenever they want for whatever reason they want. If the issue is fees not being paid, that is often grounds for withdrawing as a general matter, but it would be a rare court to allow an attorney to withdraw with scheduled pending matters - and really a bizarre albino unicorn event to allow an attorney to withdraw the after trial has begun. The jury would see that negatively. Which is all to say that an attorney does not have a right to likely cause a mistrial for that selfish reason and put everything back at square one.
And in this unusual case, when his attorneys accepted representation on a client who has a reputation for not paying attorneys - there is way less reason to grant withdrawal for nonpayment of fees.

Finally got off my ass and used the credit from Chase to sign the wife (no pics) and me up. Submitted the app around 4/8, got conditionally approved 4/10, was able to make an appt last night 4/16 and got approved today 4/17. The appt making process was odd, when I first checked it had availability all day 4/25 and 4/26 but by the time the wife got home from work and I could firm up a good time, all the appts were gone. Checked a couple days later and they had appts every day of the week this week, all times of day. Not sure why it was so fast but not about to question it. Also the Chase reimbursement happened automatically, same day as the $100 charge showed up.

The DJT stock isn't actually falling apart, it's moving towards it's actual valuation which is just very low.
I'm surprised that Truth Social hasn't announced that it's moving to be an AI company. I guess that is next week's press release.
Well if a negative number is 'very low' then I completely agree with you.

If Fidelity could have found shares for me to short, I could be retiring soon. This thing was always going to be in the fast lane to Zero.
I was able to short on E-Trade yesterday at 26.85. I figured I had missed the boat and had stopped trying but after reading here about the rubes sinking their life savings into it, I jumped in.

My friend was part of a three-man operation.
Dealer: has the never-ending patter, keeps the cards going.
Muscle: stands off to the side, comes in if needed.
Shill (my buddy): pretends to play, "wins" some money, whispers to drunk sailors that he noticed that one card has a bent corner.
Works like a vacuum cleaner for money.
Most every time I've seen it, the shill is a woman.

Tried shorting DJT on E-trade today, was told I couldn't do it because they don't have shares to borrow. Seems like everyone is shorting.

Listening on Westwood One and I’m almost sure it’s Craig Way on the pxp. According to their website it’s supposed to be Ryan Radtke.

So the Qanons love RFK Jr, but then he goes and picks a running mate whose background is
- Her parents are from China
- She started up an artificial intelligence company
- She was married to a Jewish guy
- Said ex-husband was the co-founder of Google, which is evil as far as Qanon is concerned
- She was a Democrat
- She supported Pete Buttigieg, a gay man, for President
- After Biden got the nomination, she supported him
George Soros could not have come up with a better candidate to control RFK Jr.
Only her mom is from China. So she's a second-generation immigrant. Just like Trump.

I am almost finished with this book and while it seems gimmicky from the cover, it was a good read. It's organized by numbers, beginning with lists of threes, all the way to 24 (I think the last one is the Greek alphabet). It skips a few numbers at the end, and the bulk of the lists cover the numbers you would expect: 3, 5, 7, 10, and 12 covering a wide range of topics from the Trinity, Newton's Laws of Motion, to the Furies, to types of triangles, quarks, battles, etc. Each list goes into some detail and for the ones with which I was familiar, a good refresher, and others exposed gaps in my education/knowledge. A pretty extensive bibliography/reference at the end as well. It's not a difficult read, but easy to set down and pick up again.
Figured I'd take a try at this since it's only $5 on iBooks. Find myself skipping a few just cuz IDGAF but still a lot of interesting stuff. And yeah, easy to put down and pick back up, flip around, read different sections, doesn't need to be read in order.
