Learn me on car touch up paint pot favor. Gf has a 2022 accord and front bumper has a pretty good size scratch on it, maybe 4 inches or so. I think I found the paint code online but is it as easy as just apply it or should I let someone who knows what they are doing handle it?

It’s pretty easy and on a 2022 should match exactly. You won’t really make it harder for a “pro” by trying it yourself first so I would do that and see how you like it.

The left tackle was uncovered which is illegal formation. One reported but the left tackle didn’t. Wouldn’t have mattered anyway

It’s not an illegal formation if he reports. If he doesn’t report it’s illegal and the flag should be thrown at the snap.

General question.  If the ball is set on the hash mark, can the holder set up in the middle of the field and have the long snapper snap it there?

No rule against that.  You see a lot of teams do a bit of that but from a practical perspective you really can’t go more than a couple yards.  The snap distance would be too long exposing a block.

My book now has them as a 2 point dog. It’s like Vegas just figured out their entire starting roster is leaving or sitting out.

I could have sworn they were a 4 point opening favorite, which is just wild to see that much movement.

Same here.  I got in last night at OSU +2 and now it's OSU -2.  Pretty sure in my book it opened at OSU +3.

what is the failure rate of these pledges? 100%?

Yeah I just don't get it.  What world did these parents grow up in where they think something like this will actually work?  Or not realize that this will cause the actual opposite effect and encourage their kids to get it on?

He cleaned up NYC by ramping up the police force.  It worked.  It was also a predicate to modern militarized police goon squads.  Be careful what you wish for.

The Freakonomics guys argued that it was Dinkins who got the budget increased for more cops, so he’s really responsible for cleaning up NYC.

I think we're going to see that here, simply because what I saw from the guy was a freshman having very typical freshman struggles in his first starts. I think he'll overcome those issues and do well. The only issue he has here is the depth chart in our QB room... well, how do you describe it accurately? Have there been more than three or four QB depth charts in all of collegiate football history like ours this year?

Because I think the answer is "no" and the number of depth charts better is "zero point zero."

I don't think Milwee leaves for any job simply because... who would give up being the lead of a QB room like this?

There are approximately 132 teams in FBS that could use him.

I didn't come up with this on my own, so don't neg me, but one of our games Leinart was covering, he interviewed Sark and Sark said this year's QB room is comparable to the one USC had when he was there.  Carson Palmer, Leinart, and Matt Cassell.

Penn State fans seem to love him, and that D was pretty good this year.  Thing with Diaz is that (1) historically, he gets figured out and can't adjust, and (2) his schemes are so fucking complicated no one can play instinctually.  I think he's evolved some, and so long as he hires a DC and doesn't play both roles, it's not a bad hire, and Duke wasn't going to make a massive splash hire.  As a Duke fan, I'm not unhappy, and I also don't have to worry my coach is going to have a coronary.

Serious (well as serious as one can be on this board asking about Manny) - did he play both roles at Miami?

People in reverse that aren't moving.  Especially if I am behind them at a light.  The fuckers that sit in parking spots in reverse can go to hell.

This one kills me as well.  Whatever manufacturer decided to put the reverse lights on when in park can also smd.  I forget which one it is (Chevy?), but I think they don't do it anymore.

But there's no greater feeling than taking my car out of reverse when I see someone else backing up and getting a wave from them.  It's not just a 'thank you for letting me go first' it's a 'thank you for having a clue.'

I found this to be an excellent read, but you gotta stick with it. If I wasn't stuck on a long plane ride with nothing else to read, I probably would've quit. Once you get to the third book, it all comes together.

Just finished reading The Wager by David Grann. Really enjoyed it. He reminds me of Erik Larson in the way he researches and writes about historical events.

About to start The Lost City of Z.

The Wager was quite good.  I actually wish it was longer.  The ebook version says it's something like 850 pages but the last 200 are illustrations and whatnot.
