  1. This guy would be an amazing fit on our current roster. Watched him a lot last year and was impressed.
  2. I am not saying those are the only games that I'm worried about, I'm saying those are the games where I think our potential weakness in the interior is an elevated level of concern.
  3. Yes, I stand by what i said in context. That's the only game, aside from Georgia which is just concerning generally, where I'm particularly worried about our interior defensive line being exposed. They won the Joe Moore award two years running and had a terrific OL again last year. I'm not quite ready to say their OL will be weak next year, as they've reloaded each year recently, and Donovan Edwards is a very good back.
  4. It only really gives me heartburn in the Michigan matchup, particularly since that's so early in the year. We've seen that team win games without passing the ball, but I'm hoping that's gone out the door with Harbaugh.
  5. Great get for OU at a position of need, but I don't really get breaking the bank like this for a one year rental when this gets you from an 8 win team to a 9 win team, maybe?
  6. If we start Mukuba and Derek Williams, I think that's an upgrade at both safety spots. Obviously the concerns at CB are warranted.
  7. Average Aggie Saturday morning: wake up still shaking with rage because biased NFL GMs are ignoring whorns players' BDF film and drafting them in early rounds. Turn on the computer, log on to TexAgs and write a 7 paragraph essay about how the sips cheated their way to recruiting stud players, but also those players suck and weren't developed, except the ones that were developed and if they were developed, it took too long.
  8. Underrated comment in there is saying OU lost 7 starting OL. After we beat Michigan, they're going to say they lost 27 starters from last year.
  9. Such a great throwaway in the middle of the article. Also this one: White team starter Conner Weigman only completed 5-of-14 passes for 47 yards. Yet, he was involved in one play which should boost hopes for next season. There has been some question whether Weigman, last year’s starter, has completely recovered from a broken foot injury. Weigman evaded heavy pressure, scampered to his right and purposely threw incomplete to avoid lost yardage. Our offensive line may actually be worse than last year, but at least our broken bodied quarterback shows the ability to throw incomplete passes behind them. WHOOP!
  10. Toia initially transferred to UCLA from USC and I think burned some bridges on the way out. I actually think he's a better player than Williams and has supposedly put a lot of work into his body this offseason. He was spectacular against the run last year and I suspect he could see a Sweat/Murphy type breakout this year.
  11. Supposedly, he was banging a player's mom. Like any self-respecting high school football coach.
  12. With the way we've been recruiting the portal, I don't necessarily see it with Marcus Harris. Looks like a P5 player on tape and has proved it against high-level competition, but based on size/speed (neither of which is terrible by any means) he seems like a guy we'd ultimately recruit over. He actually reminds me of CJ Williams from a few years back at Mater Dei, albeit a little better - solid prospect but I don't see a real difference maker. Would be happy to have him if we miss on Ffrench and Moore and then would also be fine when he portals to Arizona two years later. I like McCutcheon more of the next tier guys.
  13. Love this kid's tape = he and his circle respond to Nahlin's 3pm drunk texts.
