You came to the right place. What do you like to drink and a budget? Or better yet just give me your credit card and I’ll make things appear on your doorstep!
  2. You can pick up 4 or 5 bottles of wine now? More like help offset the costs of all the wine I just bought from another Surly member.
  3. Thank you very much! I thought the Death Bottle would have been worth more than the Wild Turkey Tribute, guess not. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. So here are the two bottles... Wild Turkey Tribute 15 year 50th Anniversary - Not sure that it would add any value but it is signed by Jimmy Russell, Master Distiller, 2004 Booker’s B96-C-15 Commemorative Bottle 1929-2004. Bottle 10 of 3000. I believe this is what is referred to as the “Death Bottle?” Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. I’m here in Central Texas. There used to be a bourbon group on Facebook I was on but it got shut down. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. One bottle I believe is from 2004 and the other 2006. Not sure wine searcher would be of any use? Update...I found the 2004 on wine searcher! I use this for wine all the time but didn’t think about bourbon.
  7. Need a little help. I’ve got two bottles of some pretty rare bourbon and more than likely not going to drink them. Have recently thought about putting them up for sale but I have no clue on pricing. Is there a website or good source for either Booker’s or Wild Turkey prices?

Popped this classic Pauillac a few weeks back with another Surly member. Given the vintage this wine was in a good spot and ready to drink!

You can never go wrong with either Cristal or Krug. Here are a few others that might fit the bill. Cristal Krug Grande Cuvee Piper Heidsieck Rare Charles Heidsick Dom Ruinart Billecart-Salmon Cuvee Nicolas Francois Pol Roger Winston Churchill Bollinger R.D. Taittinger CdC

Would be glad to help out. Is this for a wine geek or just a casual drinker?
  12. I got two flats on my boat trailer last weekend. Both flats happened about an hour apart headed to LBJ last weekend. The tires were about eight years old which apparently is way past the life span. Made a few calls and got a mobile tire repair out with new tires at 10pm on Friday night of Labor Day weekend! That set me back a few $$$. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve been slacking a little lately. Squeezed in a quick trip to Colorado right before the kids went back to school. Found some gems in the local liquor store! One evening we celebrated a birthday and found a unicorn on the wine list! This is probably the best domestic Chardonnay that I have ever had. If you run across older Eyrie I highly recommend giving it a try.
  14. The internet police will be here before long to tell you that is big no no.
  15. You might look into a Lear 45 if they have one in the fleet. Cabin is not as big as the Challenger but the costs to operate should be less and its faster!
  16. Depends. If you have foam insulation maybe. Too many factors to just go solely based off square footage. If conventional insulation you will need two units. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. By a couple of months I meant to say I was thinking around 6 months.
  18. I’ve been debating getting my private pilot license. Is this something remotely obtainable within a couple of months? I have a more than full time job but could manage a few hours a week. Thoughts....

Well since you asked....celebrated my best friends birthday and some great wine! We kept waiting for you to show up with some [emoji91]!
  20. Had a 99 Sunsetter that looked very similar. Boat didn’t give me a lick of trouble in 600+ hours. Sold it in 2007 for a VLX. Now starting to think about selling the VLX for a newer model. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Don’t even get me started....Weekley blows donkey balls on semi custom work. Sure there are lots of crappy “custom builders” but let’s separate the men from the boys! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Why not get a freestanding tub with a side drain? Much easier than jackhammering concrete! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  24. I don’t have any experience with them. I asked two of my friends that are attorneys in Waco and who they would recommend. They both said Rainey & Rainey are really good. Another name one of them suggested is Dick McCall. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
