Go to the teachers' restroom.  Getting sent to the principal's office once a day can't be worse than getting beat up. That's what a friend of mine did when he found himself one of the few white kids at an almost entirely black school.  Most of the teachers were very understanding, so he was only reported when he took a crap.

Thanks, but you're over 30 years too late.  Even so, I appreciate the advice. :)

Over the years, being able to hold my bladder for 9 hours straight has helped immensely whilst attending various sporting events, concert festivals, etc.  So I suppose I should be thankful for Austin's busing program back then.

Not complaining. But, if I start firing at ripe targets I don't want the negs for CRing up the News section.

The "ripe targets" for this discussion are the lobbies paying off the politicians to uphold antiquated laws, and the politicians themselves who allow themselves to be bought.  Feel free to take all the shots at them that you want, many people already have.  If you choose to take it beyond that to further some personal agenda, then you should definitely prepare for the negative consequences.

After lifelong KO2 commitment. You and the crew have me running on Nittos. They do seem to wear a lot more even for me which means more miles.

Cajun, I’d have to do some digging, but I think I have before and after leveling pics on my ‘10 F150 with the stock tires and then with 285 BFGs.

The comments/reviews on the Nitto Grapplers mention they are pretty quiet and ride well for tires that have such aggressive tread.  Have you found that to be true?

Funny the difference between men and women.

Surly crowd -That would look cool!

My daughter and girlfriend just now - that's the same truck, I don't get it.

Similarly, I can't tell the difference between any of the half-dozen pair of black high heeled shoes my wife owns.

Men and women are just wired differently, and that's a good thing!

Texas has one of the best, if not the best, PR programs in the world. The blend at UT of PR/Advertising/Comms/Marketing/Journalism is possibly the highest ranking blend in the world and almost certainly within the US. ATM? Eh, not so much. They're not regionally relevant in any of those from a legitimate rankings perspective. If they want to go the route of claiming PR driven conspiracy, a little research would add so much gasoline to the fire for them. I wonder if they have anyone intelligent enough in their little cloistered community to do that research? I'd love to see some that lunacy amplify their paranoia.

It's tempting to conduct the research and perform the analysis for them, then send it anonymously to one of their idoit texags mouthpieces,  and watch them post it and lose their minds.

Saw some study reference that eating fried chicken weekly would take 15 years off the mean life expectancy.  Shit, we had that every Sunday when I was a kid.  I thought the beatings were the attempt to kill me.  Old Mom was way craftier than I ever suspected.

You should remove the popcorn from that pouch and use that for the bones.

You don't just throw your chicken bones on the floor?  How fancy.  I bet you also refer to your car-hole as a "garage."

    well......no

But there is a Gus's now in Houston that is pretty good.  Last time I was there the pieces were really small though.

Well I was just asking, since the point of the original post was, best fried chicken in Texas.

Gus's is also in Austin now, I think it's very tasty.  I hear it's not as good as the original, which I have never had.

Why can't you buy liquor at the grocery stores or Walgreens in Texas? This isn't an issue anywhere else

That's not entirely true, I believe Pennsylvania also has crazy liquor laws.  In fact as I recall, they're even crazier, because you can only buy liquor in state-owned stores there, but you can't buy beer in those same state-owned liquor stores.
