Except for Friday, Something About Mary, and Dumb & Dumber, people rarely go to the bathroom in movies.

Why is the USGP highlighted there? Just curious ...
I pulled the graphic down from COTA Facebook page.

Because large portions of Europe shut down during August?
Yes, this. 2026 schedule is about 1 week earlier than normal, to be honest. This year in 2025 it goes from after Hungary on 8/3, resuming with Zandvoort on 8/31. Last year Spa was 7/28 and Zandvoort was 8/25. Similar for years prior.

I was sequestered in Maggie Mae's one night when Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan were shooting some shitty movie all around central Texas. Rotel & The Hot Tomatoes were playing. I got bored, decided to leave, exited while security made a bad attempt to stop me, turned right on the sidewalk and ran full frontal into Meg wearing a teddy, walking west with Quaid. I heard a director's "cut" and decided I needed to be gone. Still, Meg Ryan in a teddy.

Why was $599 and under chosen as no need to report amount?
Not sure but to pay your player $5M without reporting, all you have to do is break it down into 8,348 smaller deals. Simple.

Canada in May, Monaco in June. Sigh.
On the bright side, with school-aged kids, Spa has never really been a realistic trip for me at the end of August. But in mid-July it becomes a lot more do-able. And I was already planning a Europe trip next summer.
Bucket list might be getting one item shorter...

I once ate lunch at a table next to Al Pacino's at the Cafe Pontalba on Jackson Square in New Orleans. He was very polite to the waitstaff.
I once ate dinner at a table next to Sandra Bullock at her restaurant, Bess. She had a big table for her family and my wife and I were at a 2-top right next to it. My slightly tipsy wife tried to take a picture of her by pretending she was taking a picture of me with Sandra's table in the background. The staff came by and discreetly and politely asked her to knock it off.

Danny Davito fucked my dad’s wife (his first one- not my mom) while he was married to her. Old man claimed she was the hottest woman in every room, so that’s more or less definitive proof celebrity makes up for everything.
That’s all I’ve got for famous people.-

Not like they'll see the field there.

And then of course, they ignore this one as well...

Special recruits deserve more than a normal goat. They should get themselves some of those Moroccan tree goats.

I was an extra in the high school auditorium scene in Heartbreak Hotel-- an Elvis movie starring David Keith. As I recall that particular scene was set at a high school talent show in Taylor, Ohio, and they shot these scenes in Taylor, Texas. I'm in that crowd somewhere but have never seen myself. I skipped school for a couple of days as they shot it. But it was okay, I was in theater and so it counted as off-site educational instruction or something.
Ebert gave it one star and said this about it:
QuoteHere it is, the goofiest movie of the year, a movie so bad in so many different and endearing ways that I’m damned if I don’t feel genuine affection for it. We all know it’s bad manners to talk during a movie, but every once in a while a film comes along that positively requires the audience to shout helpful suggestions and lewd one-liners at the screen. 'Heartbreak Hotel' is such a movie.

Despite my devotion to the cheese enchilada with chili gravy, I’ve always liked the inclusion of barbecue into enchiladas as well. The challenge is always the sauce.
what sauce enrobes your brisket ones. And now I gotta know more about these smoked duck enchiladas.
The sauce for the brisket enchiladas is a pretty standard red chile gravy, but I reserve the drippings from the brisket, and use that as the base fat for when i fry the sauce.
Same thing for the smoked duck enchiladas-- smoke the duck (I like pecan for fowl), save the fat, and use it for the frying step when making the sauce.
Oh, I also save just a little bit of the drippings to introduce into the oil when I lightly fry the corn tortillas before rolling, as well.

And Leia died of a combination of the two-- effectively committing suicide, while trying to reach out to and redeem her asshole patricidal son.

Agree. This infographic asserts that it's the first time since 1957. I saw it on Facebook so I assume it's true.
