  1. There's unlimited customers for natural gas. If you're referring to utilizing flared gas it has nothing to do with energy usage on the grid. Campaign donations? There's plenty of green energy money floating around. Put it to work. Bias against renewables? I thought Texas was a renewable leader and they're saving our ass or whatever the thread says. Not of your complaints make sense.
  2. Yeah I told my wife after checking out their website that the pool looked like there will be a DJ with turntables next to it.
  3. Why do you think Texas legislators chose Bitcoin miners over those options?
  4. Heading here for first time for wedding. Kids in tow. They're great and all, but have a feeling this place is more for the adults.
  5. Well ackshually even if it was a blood pressure thing that doesn't make sense to delay an epidural. Epidurals bring your blood pressure down. If it's “too high” for an epidural then you probably need to have an emergent C section anyway
  6. Also Eth ETF approved. What a quick turnaround. Obviously a political decision. Rules or laws they were citing previously don't matter. Their supposed principles are irrelevant. Very Fiat decision making process.
  7. Crypto miners here participate in demand response programs. When the demand is high they curtail usage and typically shut completely off. It's the concept of flexible loads. So at peak demand crypto will have zero responsibility for taking down the Texas grid. That's unlike a new player in energy demand. AI compute is not a flexible load player. In fact, it will be the runaway energy usage leader soon if it isn't already. Larry Fink from Blackrock expects trillions in energy infrastructure will be needed for AI, so goodbye to net zero anytime soon. Turns out it's AI boiling the oceans. From the piece Analysts expect ERCOT electric use will top that all-time high this summer with economic and population growth in Texas and demand for power from data centers, artificial intelligence (AI) and cryptocurrency mining rising fast. Again only one of those curtails. So better luck next time.
  8. Dems are pro crypto. Just the wrong kind of crypto. Symbolic Cbdc vote down party lines.
  9. It's a short video. The next frame is Elizabeth Warren is building an Anti Crypto Army
  10. Well you can't say they didn't try. How it started. How it’s going Sorry, Liz
  11. This doesn't make sense. You mean her blood pressure? Agreed and if she's on the fence about getting it and it’s getting into the evening hours, she should just get it. Better to have it placed by someone that's awake and her pain is not as bad yet, than to have it placed by someone that was asleep 5 mins ago and she's freaking out in pain.
  12. It's a broader shift that's causing a reaction from the other side. My how the turn tables. It says they're opposed, but does not issue veto threat unlike the resolution voted on just one week ago. They've seen some polling or something that has forced this shift. Seems that it is an actual issue to be concerned about in Presidential election year. I don't buy it though. I think they shift back as soon as election is done.
