  1. Did this already get shared? For people who are worried about Bernie's base of enthusiasm, this is the kind of stuff that gives you a shot in the arm.
  2. That's good, because it's very clear that first ballot won't change and the second one likely won't as well.
  3. I thought the calls for Perez to resign were premature but he needs to fucking resign at this point if they don't let multiple unaffiliated 3rd parties handle this.
  4. They just need to post the raw vote totals for the first and second alignments and let all these pollsters run the numbers. Fucking pathetic shit it's taking them this long.
  5. What the hell does that mean?
  6. not going to post this in the main threads because everyone's going to freak out and call us Bernie Bros, but this is why caucuses suck. They basically encourage harassment during the realignment.
  7. Bernie, don't call it a comeback
  8. Pete is clearly going to be the main challenger to Bernie it looks like now. Shit going to continue to get crazy.
  9. Hi, this is a verified account who agrees.
  10. From what I heard the day after, they used to phone in a lot of results and they also committed to showing all the counts this years instead of these SDEs at the end of it all. There was nowhere near enough backup phone lines and then they went into I guess verifying all this by hand (which they've screwed up evidently).
  11. No one cares, you'll be in a re-education camp soon enough.
  12. You said you wouldn't even vote for Warren dude, maybe sit this one out.
  13. Biden's camp may have legitimate claim to doubt all these results and file a lawsuit lol.
  14. Even still, you basically have to wonder how many errors they've entered already thus far and possibly do it all again.
  15. Lol was about to post this. Yeah, definitely nothing shady going on. God bless Cohn for being on top of it too.
  16. Yes, in totality, but I assume people who already voted or vote on that day whose votes have been received, at least some of that data will be reported after polls close? Did that not happen in 2016?
  17. I assume we'd get a lot of vote totals reported on that day though right? Delegate counting is I think not just by popular vote in both states, correct me if that isn't the case.
  18. Yep, miss my point entirely.
  19. I mean this is 100% anecdotal and I understand if you doubt its authenticity, but I've donated to a couple of GoFundMes to get volunteers to SC. This is a guy who has been there for the past week or so.
  20. My honest opinion is that it's dumb, even if he's romping, to make a prediction about his chances until after Super Tuesday when we see some real big states go.
  21. Who knows right now, I think it is but you've been trying to extrapolate a result of a very shitty-ran caucus (i.e. a confusing thing many people don't care to participate in) as to how much actual support there is for Bernie right now, and those results still missing like 29% percent. Let's talk after Super Tuesday or even right before. Edit: and yes obviously his support isn't among the suburban liberal-esque white people who dislike Trump but don't seem to understand how bad the country was for the more poor before 2016. Bernie's strategy may backfire on him, I think it won't but it's certainly possible. This idea that he'll only win by winning literally every state by huge margins was something that I don't think any of us Berners said would happen. Any primary is going to be a long and drawn out process with this many candidates, it's inevitable.
  22. Ted Cruz is hispanic, not sure how that's debatable. He may be fairly white skinned but his dad is from Cuba.
  23. I mean he's overwhelmingly got more individual donations and volunteers knocking on doors, making calls/texts, writing postcards than any other Democratic candidate and it isn't even close. If that alone doesn't prove to you that there's a huge enthusiasm behind him then talking to your more well-off white friends about policy isn't going to matter. Tell them to vote their conscience
  24. People can rightly be turned off by the attitude and I'm not going to argue that you can't feel that way, but many leftists believe this is the only way left to try and force the Democratic party back to where it really should be. When you look at what they're truly wanting, as I said an actual dismantling of capitalism in the US, it's not shocking that they may have an extreme way of approaching electoral politics.
