For all the stupid shit this admin is trying to claim in Portland, I live about 2.5 miles, as the crow flies, from the ICE facility in question. Obviously everyone who isn't an absolute drooling dipshit has seen how small the protest group is and how outright lying the right-wing media is making out the "destruction of Portland," but one thing that isn't getting enough attention is that DHS/ICE has had multiple helicopters flying over the waterfront back and forth over the Willamette river every evening, including almost all day this past Saturday. One of these is a Blackhawk as posted by DHS's own Twitter account. It's not too noisy where I'm at, and they seem to be out fewer hours the past couple of nights, but I can hear them all throughout the evening. It's obviously pissing off everyone who lives down there. The biggest hospital in Oregon is very close to the ICE facility to and almost certainly irritating everyone who works there.
I also can't imagine the cost of running three military-esque helicopters for several hours for two weeks straight. They could use drones but clearly this is meant to be a psychological warfare tactic and a show of force.
