Watched The King’s Speech on a flight. I hadn’t ever seen it. Good movie, well acted, interesting true story.

It's not until you try to commit to one of these diets that you realize how frequently life brings you junk food, candy, and other "bad" foods. So fucking many bachelor parties, birthdays, family gatherings, work functions, game watch parties, the list goes on. Life's much easier when you aren't having to think about what goes in your mouth. That's probably why ozempic has been such a success. If what they say is true, it takes the mental burden away by neutering one's desire for food
Pretty much. I can walk by a bowl of Doritos at a party and just not be interested.
You do have to make sure you’re getting enough protein, exercising, and hydrating like crazy. The constipation can be really bad.

Not at all sorry if already posted...
This so freakin good. One iconic moment after another. I found it on demand on YTTV if you didn’t record it.

I thought the guy who played Belushi nailed it.

Enjoyed it on airplane last week. Led me down the rabbit hole to watch first episode on Peacock and keep going.
Some small things said are interesting to SNL history of that first season: movie says network was worried that fake commercials would confuse audience regarding real commercials -- so far in first 7 episodes of SNL - fake ads are introduced as taped messages or something similar.
The beef with the Bees is played out in first episodes as each week's stars comment on the Bee skits with the cast in bee costumes.
Polaroid camera appears in first few episodes as a placement product.
I agree with above that last 30 mins were great. Show is approaching 1000 episodes. Its hard to believe when I was at UT we taped every Saturday night and watched together on Sunday afternoon. Crazy that it was only season 15 of the show.
The 15th anniversary special that they did was solid gold

No fucking chance that I root for Sirianni or Philadelphia.
Will just make a bunch of player prop bets and cheer for both teams to lose.

It’s insane that ref called that a catch without even looking at the ball or players on the ground.

Mustoe says our red may have been the worst call of the season

Havertz collapsed as soon as the whistle blew. Hope he’s ok.

It must have pained him so much to give that second yellow

Hell or High Water still holds up pretty well. It would be nice to see Sheridan show some restraint sometime and get back to that kind of writing.

Slingshot. Meh. I’m pretty forgiving to sci fi films, but “going crazy in space” has been done much better.

Saturday Night is a great love letter to SNL. All of the actors do a great job playing some real 70s icons. JK Simmons might steal the show as Milton Berle. Really great.

Dammit I was just about to turn it off, I have an early flight tomorrow.

I’ve purchased three Fireflies. Still have the semi hollow tele with P90s.
They suck. I don’t understand how they have so many raving fans.
