  1. Clear as mud
  2. Do yellow cards carry over to the second leg?
  3. The wedding plot line was slow. The rebel spat plot line was a little dumb (rock paper scissors really?), the Bix plot line was best. These are fair assessments. I still love it and can’t wait for more (and am on the road for work, annoyingly).
  4. The documentary that it’s based on is hair raising.
  5. Anora had waaaaay more T&A and fucking than I expected. Pretty good film.
  6. Ronin. Free on YouTube right now. One of my favorites and it still holds up. 29 year old Natascha McElhone giving hope to 55 year old grouches everywhere.
  7. I highly recommend headphones when she does the sound test.
  8. Just incredible work here
  9. One left to go in the new season. The only one I didn’t like was Hotel Reverie. The main actress was just so wooden, and I didn’t really buy that she would want to stay in that prison. Plaything had major nostalgia elements for me. I managed a computer software store for a few years in the 90s, and apparently Brooker was a game reviewer during the same time period. He threw in a lot of real computer game titles and other references, like the Connectix QuickCam that witnessed the murder. Loved it.
  10. Looks like an alien from War of the Worlds to me.
  11. Y'all are reading too much into things. I’m sure Tay is just going on a nice ride and his regular driver was probably just sick that day.
  12. There’s another Easter egg in that very first shot 👀
  13. Damn you’re right. She does that same eye roll thing that Andy does in Romulus.
  14. The first season of Taboo (2017), starring Tom Hardy, is an eight-episode period drama set in 1814 London. The story follows James Delaney, a mysterious and presumed-dead adventurer who returns to England after spending ten years in Africa, just as his father dies. Delaney inherits a strategic piece of land called Nootka Sound, which becomes the center of a power struggle involving the British government, the American government, and the powerful East India Company. As Delaney seeks to build his own shipping empire and uncover the truth about his father’s death, he faces betrayal, violence, and dark secrets—including those tied to his past in Africa and his taboo relationship with his half-sister, Zilpha. Throughout the season, he manipulates his enemies while assembling a band of outcasts to execute his long game. -ChatGPT
  15. I can’t imagine willingly living in Chicago full time. But I hate cold weather. I had some teams reporting to me up there years ago, and when I was once filling up my rental car in 5° weather with freezing fucking fog I was like “that’s a no from me dog.”
  16. This is where I’m at. The opening escape was fan-fucking-tastic as well. Thanks to my intermittent insomnia I watched all three.
  17. I only just started the first new episode but the very first shot of the very first scene already looks better than anything we’ve seen since the first season. Gruntled.
  18. I don’t care but it does seem odd. Is JS just covered up in work?
  19. Couple days ago: Broots People apologize for thrash?
  20. The Order - Jude Law in an early-80s FBI crime thriller about investigating some white supremacists in Washington state. Based on a true story and really well done. It looks and sounds great, great music, and Law plays a great grizzled FBI veteran. It’s on Hulu.
  21. Well done boys. Keep the pressure on.
  22. It’s unreal. You haven’t talked to me all day, and now you have an urgent question about whatever the fuck?
