  1. Yeah, this will kill the apparel people. A lot of them had moved to Vietnam in recent years and he slapped them with a 90% tariff today.
  2. The poors don't pay income taxes now. Hell, the lower middle class barely pays any. Yet, they'll be paying the brunt of the tariffs for the tax cuts the rich get. Trump will then blame immigrants.
  3. Same. Steph can just go nuts and you can't do anything about it. Sure, it's a 7 game series but he's still the greatest shooter of not just all time but currently. Butler is still pretty good, too. I agree about Chetenstein being the difference. They're legitimately good and Draymond would get thrown around by Hartenstein.
  4. Caught up on the Nuggets highlights..... I love Russell Westbrook and he's a smart guy but he's always just mentally shit the bed in key moments. (Usually with an ill timed, wild assed shot.) Last night was peak Russ. It's easy to talk about the stupid foul but the missed layup was worse, even Candace Parker said as much on TNT. Either don't take the shot at all and run out the clock or dunk the ball. He's been playing way too long to do something like that. This happened all the time in the OKC years and he rubbed off on Durant. He'd take the same stupid shots but he'd hit them because he's a better shooter. But if they needed to burn some time before a good, you could count on one of them to run down the court and fire up a 27 footer with 18 seconds left on the shot clock. I thought Durant would take a shot just because he knew he might not get it back.
  5. You're right. I didn't realize how close #3 to #8 were. Basically 3 games total. The irony where is OKC plays LA back to back, both at home. If they win those, it basically locks LA into the 4/5 slot, which means they'd play them in the second round. I don't see Dallas or Sacramento winning those play in games but it's the missed week of rest that matters. I still say if I'm OKC, I'd rather play LA than GS. If those two play each other in the first round (they may), I'd pick GS. Hot take, I know....
  6. Right now, the 4/5 series in the West is GS/Lakers. Anyone here that thinks LA wins that? I don’t. Second round is against OKC. If I’m OKC, I’d rather play the Lakers.
  7. It was kind of built in. Only on perfect weather days with no chance of anything. Funny thing is, these boots aren't even available on the website. They did a very limited production for the NFR back in December and put them in their IG stories. She was committing all of the seven deadly sins looking at them. We stumbled into a store this weekend and saw them and once I heard them say they had her size, I knew it was over.
  8. That's fair. SGA is having an all time season, too. If any talking head put him on par with Kobe or Jordan, the Internet would implode but it's accurate.
  9. Both are having great seasons. One is 16 games ahead of the other. It's not a Most Impressive Stats award.
  10. Well, they are an easy out. Ja Morant has also only played 44 games this season. He's only 25 and he's hurt all the time when he's not trying to be some wanna be gangster piece of shit.
  11. Three different players in MVP seasons. Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryan, SGA. Tell me which one is which. 31.5 ppg, 52% FG, 27% 3P%, 6.0 reb, 5.5 AST, 2.7 STL 28.3 pig, 46% FG, 36% 3P%, 6.3 reb, 5.4 AST, 1.8 STL 32.9 ppg, 52% FG, 37% 3P%, 5.1 reb, 6.3 AST, 1.7 STL So, yeah, SGA is on par with Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant at this point and he'll only be 27 this summer and he has his team literally 16 games better than Jokic. Sure, give it to Jokic. Whatever.
  12. Yes, these are purple suede. Baby Doll scored big over the weekend. These don't exist, even on the website.
  13. They are 2-2 head to head. SGA has a much better supporting cast, though. Well, let's just change it to the Most Impressive Stats (MIS) category, then. If these two team were close, then I'd go Jokic. Denver is a distant 3rd and literally 16 games behind OKC.
  14. I don't know, SGA is having a statistical season for a guard on par with anything MJ and Kobe ever did and leads Jokic's team by literally almost 16 games in the standings.
  15. They signed him to a 4 year extension for a reasonable amount of money. He can defend 4 positions very well and can hit some threes. Fits into the system very well. Seems to get injured a lot, though,
  16. Everyone has stretches like that.
  17. The rare trade that worked out for all the players and all the teams.
  18. Josh Giddey's average against the Lakers this season is 20/12/14
  19. The national media is sort of writing in the Lakers in the WCF at minimum but they're 4-6 in their last 10 and one of those wins was a last second tip in against Indy. But Josh Giddey's half court heave. Lulz.
  20. He then slapped a 25% tariff on autos. GM stock down 8%
  21. Since these were all white guys, we can blame this on DEI, right?
  22. That's where I was even when it happened. I get the logic behind wanting to move off Luca but you traded for him for......Anthony Davis? M'kay. Poetic that he got hurt the first game in Dallas. Speaking of that, they're bringing him back last night to compete for that #10 spot. Why?
  23. You can't be a GOAT level player and not focus on fitness and conditioning, though. Did anyone see Luka playing 70 games a season 10 years from now at age 35? I certainly didn't and still don't. All time talent, though. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the trade was unbelievably bad but they weren't wrong in their original reasons.
  24. Josh Giddey messed around and had a triple double last night. While not a great fit in OKC, I was always a fan of his skill set unrelated to guessing the ages of girls. He's played really well as of late. 20/8/6 during February while 50% FG and 53% from 3. So far in March, 21/9/9 and 52% FG and 35% from 3. He's a RFA after this season so it'll be interesting what the Bulls do. If he's in a system where he's the full time PG, I always thought he could put up All Star level numbers like he has the last two months. He's not great on defense, though. I still think that trade worked out well for everyone involved. Caruso is a better fit in OKC and Giddey is getting more exposure in a contract year.
  25. ‘Deport every person under the sun’: ICE detains Cubans during immigration appointments Federal authorities in South Florida have recently detained at least 18 Cubans during scheduled immigration appointments, local attorneys say, highlighting that a group that has historically enjoyed special immigration benefits is not immune to the Trump administration’s intensified mass deportation efforts. In recent years, hundreds of thousands of Cubans who crossed the U.S.-Mexico border have received I-220A forms, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement document that records someone’s release from custody subject to certain conditions. https://www.yahoo.com/news/deport-every-person-under-sun-172343782.html
