  1. It's living off it's past performance and drinks. It used to be good (if a bit overpriced). But last time I went both the service and food were pretty bad.

Food at La Condesa is usually shit. But the el cubico is a great drink. I like their guacamole and salsa sampler with two el cubicos at 4pm on a Friday. But I won’t veer off of that much at all.

  2. That’s what I was thinking when I asked what the actual rule is. I was always taught curl toward the dugout otherwise you could be in play and be tagged out. No discussion about the line. I’m not even sure it was a bullshit call. Too gray and on the road ... tie goes to the cheaters.

  3. I’m not sure what to think about the violence. Was going to take my kids to Mexico. I’ll go alone for sure. Not sure with them though.

We don’t stay in the resorts we rent a house and rent a beater of a rental car. Drink beer not pina coladas. Cenotes, off the beaten path restaurants, fishing, etc. I don’t like crowds of drunk Americans generally. Not sure though with kids.

  4. Nice night on lake travis at the gnarly. That's more like .0001 brag then a 1% er. There are some big boats out here, but please don't drive by my dock with that thing. If you have the means, I'd keep it Florida where you could go over to the Bahamas on it. That big would be a waste on Travis. You don't need 75ft for 2 cabins & to be able to sleep on it. Look at the 45-50 ft Searays - lots of those out here

I’m in town tonight and my old boat is being worked on and my new one isn’t here yet, but I just looked over and said, “damn, it’s Friday night we should be on the lake!” She said, “yeah.”

Truth is we all on this thread have it right. I’m convinced, especially when folks ask me why on earth am I out at the lake. Jesus people, do you even party on the water bro?

     This.

I wouldn’t even keep it in Texas. I’d actually take it to San Diego but his idea of florida for the Bahamas is really intriguing.

I’ve spent many a day and night dreaming of a fishing yacht and the truth is it’s so much cheaper to rent what I want, when I want it. Unlike women actually.

Now I may buy in San Diego when my kids are grown but I would live there for a year or two.

  6. Judging by the amount of it I believe yes it is a thing.  I literally have a gag reflex at some of these when I see them.  That's when I know it is a good one.

Won’t visit for this reason. It’s horribad. But these supporters ?? Who are they?
  7. Or perhaps the new national championship coach we hired just might have this state on lock down

1939....ah seems like it was yesterday. Oh wait. Your pops wasn’t even born then.
