Yeah even the most casual observer has now realized he's a clown who is in way over his head at Texas. Struggling against a horrible Tulsa team only one week after losing to Maryland is disgraceful.

The lack of player buy-in at this stage was not something I was expecting. We have too much athletic talent on this roster to be playing so poorly. It has as much to do with "want-to" and anything else. Herman has to find the right buttons to push and quick. This team needs something to bring them together and provide that spark.  Here's to hoping the USC game is it.

  2. The problem is the coaches think "We're Texas" but we aren't and haven't been for awhile. We are going to have to be more creative to beat teams. We can't just line up and be tougher or bigger or stronger or whatever they are hoping for.

  3. This game should make it completely clear that this is not on the players. There is no way in hell Tulsa has better players than Texas. This is completely and 100% on coaching.
That said I still say are problems are still 100% at offensive scheme. Our offensive is so plain and slow to develop with the same 4-5 plays that it will never succeed.

Our defense IMO would be much better if they could play loose and didn't have to worry about our offense not being able to score.

Just saw a sign that said “We want Maryland”.   Can they ever act like they’ve been there?  Oh aggy...never change

They would have to "act" as they haven't

  5. Galena Park North Shore (2-0) beat Fort Bend Ridge Point 44-0.

Damn only 2nd time Ridge Point has been shutout in school history and last 3 seasons they have averaged 39 pts / game.

Previously haven't scored less than 20 points in a game since they lost to eventual state champ Cedar Park in 2015 semi final game.
