  1. i cannot imagine that anyone in the league would be desperate enough to offer Klay 3/120.
  2. Gerry's sit down with Roy, BJ, and Sloan is pretty damn cool. I love shit like this, espcially in the off season.
  3. if Clingan can be our own version of Dereck Lively then he needs to be the pick.
  4. yep - i am definitely getting a sense of deja vu reading this thread. this is also true, and why i always stuck up for harden. when the guy is 90% of the reason you are where you are in the first place, the hating and nitpicking gets old real quick.
  5. yeah 11:00am @ arky is a gift. would like the florida game to be later on in the day but when you look at the rest of the conference games that day you can see why it's 11:00am. I wish we could just swap florida and miss st's places on the schedule. overall though, not a lot to complain about.
  6. i don't hate that as a philosophy. i'm intrigued by both Zaccharie Risacher and Matas Buzelis, or at least the idea of them as its hard for me to form a real strong opinion about guys who don't play in college and are not obvious can't miss guys like Luka and Wemby.
  7. that's how i see him too. and he has a skillset that no one on the team currently has. i'm also fine with bringing him along slowly at 15-20 minutes/night for a year or two and just seeing what happens between he and Sengun. i've become more and more OK with Reed Sheppard as well. I also like Castle, but think I prefer Sheppard on this team as I think Castle would/will have some of the same offensive issues that Amen Thompson has.
  8. damn that was badass
  9. i'm not sure if this is the right place for this or not, but it's pretty funny
  10. i'm sure his conract with the Lakers would have plenty of guaranteed money and he'd have his pick of college jobs if he ever wanted to go back.
  11. just to clarify, by "OTF dudes" you are referring to the morons who post on that site and ask their dumb questions on the live stream every morning and not Gerry, Bobby, CJ, etc., correct? one of those groups i take seriously, the other i do not.
  12. if they want to give up something of value, then sure. but if they're only offering lottery protected future picks then I'm not really interested in that.
  13. my thought with this pick when i thought it was going to be #9 or 10 pre-lottery was that i was just hoping to get a solid rotational piece out of it. obviously, when you jump up to #3 you want to be a bit more greedy, but i still think walking away from this draft with a solid rotational pice (which i think Sheppard should be) would be a success.
  14. i'm fine with just picking at #3 as well. if brooklyn is going to be ridiculous about what they want for bridges i'm not overpaying.
  15. i don't know that memphis really has anything that really makes dropping from 3 to 9 all that worthwhile.
  16. the more i think about it the more i want to trade the #3 pick, dillon brooks, and one of the '26 brooklyn pick or the '27 swap for mikal bridges. give brooklyn some of their future back in return for a guy who can help right now and in the future. they can't have the '25 swap back though. they are not going to be good next year and it is supposed to be a loaded draft.
  17. i'm not a lawyer but considering how often it happens (my own conservative estimate is 99.999% of the time) i can't imagine that its a crime.
  18. Chris Sale pitching like a Cy Young candidate has certainly helped out on the pitching side of things without Strider. I agree that they'll need to make a move for another outfielder. Maybe they can find this year's version of 2021 Jorge Soler/Joc Pederson.
  19. mavs and celtics should be a pretty awesome finals.
  20. well if the strider injury wasn't enough to pretty much give up on the season, acuna tearing his acl certainly is.
