  1. bump. is there no interest in this this year?
  2. there are only 12 days until the games begin so i wanted to go ahead and get this going. $25 entry and we'll split the spot 70/30 between first and second place unless we get at least 50 entries then we'll split it 65/25/10 between the top 3. link to join is below and the password is alamobowl. this will be confidence points as it is easily the most fun way to do this contest. https://fantasy.espn.com/games/college-football-bowl-mania-2022/group?id=1a5165b3-8242-4a51-93a4-4c78adda2878 i'm going to be fucking swamped at work tomorrow, so please wait until tuesday to start sending me entry fees so i can make sure i properly track them. i can do venmo, paypal, cash app, apple pay. if you don't have my info on any of those, pm me and let me know which one you want to use and i'll get you the info.
  3. who cares? today it's funny that he decommitted from a&m.
  4. i'm just predicting what the committee will do (based upon what they've already done). i'd personally rank tennessee ahead of alabama in the final poll because it doesn't matter, but if i had to choose between the two of them to be #4, i'd probably go with bama due to hooker's injury.
  5. yep, this feels pretty easy. 1 - georgia, 2 - michigan, 3 - tcu, 4 - ohio state just for fun to round out the top 10: 5 - alabama, 6 - tennessee, 7 - clemson, 8 - usc, 9 - kansas state, 10 - utah
  6. don't you guys think k-state would have been celebrating or showing 1 ounce of emotion if they had recovered a fumble?
  7. and of course they still don't get the ball placement correct. fucking ridiculous.
  8. no fucking shit. it's clear as day that the ball should be about 6-8 inches from the goal line.
  9. if that's not a td the ball should be at like the 6 inch line.
  10. hard for me to see it being anyone other than washington in the alamo bowl. utah and usc will both be in NY6 games and washington beat oregon head to head and finished with a better overall record than oregon by 1 game.
  11. what exactly about steve sarkisian makes you think he's that type of coach?
  12. so i just watched this for the first time over the past 3 days and thought it was great. not quite as good as season 1, but really fucking good. i'd encourage anyone who skipped it due to season 2 (as i had done) to give it a watch. ali and dorff were almost as good of a pairing as woody and MM. hell, in some ways they were probably better.
  13. everything i really liked has already been mentioned, with the exception of kurt vile (watch my moves). a couple of standouts:
  14. big time game tonight! i watched creighton a lot last week during the maui tournament and came away very impressed. they have five guys who all play about 30 minutes/game and score in double digits. in that sense, they are very balanced in terms of their scoring. i'm a bit surprised to see that they are 178th in the country in terms of possessions/game (while texas is 119th), as it felt like they tried to play at a fairly quick pace in maui (though that could just be because two of their games were against arizona and arkansas who are number 1 and 22 in terms of possessions/game). from what i've seen thus far, i think they are a clearly superior team to gonzaga, so this should be the biggest test of the season thus far. can't wait!
  15. no shit. that reads like something that anyone on this board could have put together at any point in the last two weeks. and then thrown in that last line about things trending towards him staying once someone else reported it. good lord.
  16. i don't know a lot about x's & o's, but i definitely noticed finkley holding his own on the edge on multiple occasions throughout the year.
