  1. I think the more surprising thing is that Thibbs was willing to give any starters more than 10 minutes of rest. Pacers were terrible from deep, shooting 5-25 collectively. They usually hit 30% easily, and often in the past few weeks 40-50% as a team. Just a couple of those 3s going in may have made the difference, but shit happens.
  2. Probably because he has 5 fouls, but still kinda dumb.
  3. Wow, what a great block only to have it removed by a shit call. Siakam was getting hammered on the other end trying to post up and doesn't get anything called either. Fucking lame.
  4. That looked like a charge to me...
  5. SGA only has 4 free throws and the Thunder are losing???
  6. Interesting.... How exactly will this sort of conduct be policed by the IRS?
  7. Kind of an old one, but still funny. Would anyone like to boycott Delta with him?
  8. Funny how the Nets and Clippers have the same numbers as their crosstown rivals. I'm surprised they have the Warriors so low, I would have thought the Bay area would be a lot more than that.
  9. It's times like this I wish Haliburton's dad was sitting court side.
  10. He had a hand full of jersey there, easy call. Might be a smart play though, make them hit some free throws and still have a chance to tie with the time left.
  11. Wow, Brunson just taking those body checks and still finds a way to put it in the hole. Probably should have been a foul or an and1 there.
  12. They have several guys that are shooting way above their regular season %s. Nembhard was a horrible shooter all year, and now he's hitting 51% of his 3s since the playoffs started. Lots of their guys are hitting a much higher clip. This team was very healthy all year too, so it's not like their record is depressed because they were missing guys, something clicked in the last month or so as they went about 15-4 to finish the season.
  13. Pacers are up to 57% from the floor and 45% from 3 tonight. Just killer shooting, what a time to get hot as a team.
  14. I don't blame anyone who wants to get a non-Astros doctor's opinion on anything.
  15. Minny just needs to have Ant go on a rampage tonight and impregnate all the OKC guy's girlfriend and wives that he can. That will cause plenty of distraction on the team and ruin their chemistry to the point that Minny has a decided advantage. It's what alphas do, and it could be legendary if Ant knocked up some sluts while in the boringest city in the NBA. What else is he gonna do, check out the Banjo Museum?
  16. I mean logo-ize it. There was some discussion about the LeBron block in game 7 becoming a new logo (below), because it was such an iconic moment. This Hali choke sign was pretty iconic too, not nearly as important of a game, but would be a fun meme to have.
  17. Someone needs to turn the Haliburton choke sign into an NBA logo.
  18. Do you think the voters will adjust the raw numbers requirements slightly for players who lost 2/3 of a season during COVID in 2020? A lot of players had a bad year during that time and they all missed a ton of games due to the schedule changes.
  19. This is why everyone who is a fan of a show like this should have their own digital copies on a personal server and host it with something like Plex. They ban stuff for stupid reasons all the time. My wife watched through 90210 on Amazon last year, and they were missing about 40 episodes, some due to content and others due to copyright issues with music. Best to keep your favorites close to home give the middle finger to these assholes.
  20. The NBA needs to send the Kings a nice gift basket to thank them for sending Hali to the Pacers. Imagine what we would be missing if he were still buried on the Kings roster missing the playoffs every year.
  21. Killing Eugene was understandable, that was their rules. Everyone knew it, he was bit, you can't bring them back to town for a bit to say bye to people. He should have offed him in the forest and said "This is the Way."
  22. Yeah, the uncertainty is a big part of it. I also thought he was mislead about 'how' they would use her to make a cure. As in, he thought it would be something like a blood draw, but once he learned they would kill her in the process, he lost it and went berserk. That would be a sympathetic argument to make to her, and say he wasn't going to live with her blood on his hands for delivering her to them. Just odd to me that he can care so much, but is unwilling to explain it, maybe he needs a therapist. He could also say that he didn't tell her the truth of what happened because she was 14. She won't like it, but it's understandable.
  23. I made this comment in the 4th when the team was shooting like 31% from 3. They ended the game at 40.5%.
  24. Well that was an entertaining game. 6 more would be great, thanks.
