  1. Do we know who all from this class is expected to enroll in January? I haven’t seen a list, but seems like we’ve had 80-90% enroll early the past few years.
  2. I DM’ed and asked about the rumors. 90% of it sounded like a Jason Higdon recruiting scoop. The 10% of it that is believable / true is not some incredibly damning bombshell, and most of us have already heard that rumor (re. some of our ex WR’s) Desmond Howard may be right, and Sark may bolt for the NFL. If he does, it’s because he’s sick of college, not because he needs a life line. If some bombshell report comes out, I’ll eat shit. But again, 90% of the rumors are typical rival message board BS. I’ll continue to hope coach stays around another year to coach the team he’s built. He may not be Day or Kirby, but he’s better than most.
  3. I don’t know the alleged rumors, but some food for thought. If sark magically hit the open market tomorrow, he’d instantly become the most attractive / available candidate for every school looking for a coach, over Kiffin. Most of our conference rivals wouldn’t blink at bringing Sark in (again, I don’t know the rumors, but I know the moral corruption and desperation of LSU and Ole Miss) We’d be hard pressed to find an upgrade. I hope this blows over, we beat A&M, and Sark makes some roster and coaching adjustments next year. This is a young and inexperienced team at crucial positions. I’m disappointed in the on field results, but we have a solid core and more momentum than any point since 2009.
  4. 247 gave a blurb today that we’re smack in the middle of the pack for SEC NIL. Said they’ll elaborate more in the Insider Thursday. Will be interesting to see what FCB has to say. Around February 2021, Chip called that Shaka would be leaving mutually (I think he specifically mentioned marquette too) if he didn’t have a deep tourney run, regardless of the regular season, so he’s got a decent beat
  5. Anything official on Trey Moore yet?
  6. Haha I’d actually be in the money had I played. 3rd in current points and max points
  7. Wanted to see how the group was doing, accidentally joined the pool. It should be removed now, but feel free to remove my entry if it’s still showing up. Same name as my username here
  8. Edit: Henry beat me to it.
  9. It sounds like Ty Haywood will not be signing with Bama during the early period. Michigan is the favorite right now, but maybe we make a push in January if he’s still out there?
  10. SIAP, but anyone seen an update on Justin Benton (the DL committed to WVU)? Haven’t seen anything on him since our visit, is he signing late?
  11. SIAP: On3 reporting that Hicks is visiting Oregon again this weekend. Since he’s out of play for us, I’d love to see him leave the region.
  12. SIAP: Seeing that Rashad Samples may return to the college ranks. He’d be a good recruiting replacement if we lose Marion to Tulsa.
  13. Given we’ve lost 8 of our last 11, you’d think some of you wouldn’t be so shocked at this result. Here’s where we’re at personnel wise: Card is a our qb (horrid last year, looking improved but still can’t open the field vertically) WR: without worthy, this group is bad. Whittington is good but can’t do it alone. Neyor Injury is huge. Rb: obviously elite TE: Solid group Oline: Super young and inexperienced, first road game. Edge: Laughable Interior D line: still waiting on guys to “figure it out” in year 5 LB: pretty much the same group as last year DB: mild personnel improvements? Realistically, why should I expect us to be better than last year? If you look at Card’s 3 road starts last year, yesterday was actually significant improvement. I’m not saying a lot of y’all don’t have valid points, but grow some thicker skin. The two players who should’ve helped us improve most are out (Quinn and Neyor). Hudson played a good game, but it’s obvious teams (and sark) don’t respect his deep ball, causing the same 2nd half offensive issues as last year. Sorry you bought the bama fools gold. My expectation/hope for this year was 7 or 8 regular season wins. Take a step back from the ledge and let the season play out.
  14. Even though Beard likes his guys to be able to switch, he probably wants to add a defensive big that can handle the Edey’s and Williams of the world. A respected basketball poster on 247 was advocating for a transfer big from UT Arlington. He’s not great offensively, but he can guard bigs and block shots
