ATTN: SHEEPFUCKERS (Week 15 2025)
My first game at Kyle Field was in 1981, when I attended as a LHB member. We watched the "corp of cadets" parade from our busses, and I remember thinking, this has to be some of the most backward, dumbest looking sobs that i have ever seen. Marching in, riding donkeys - holy shit these hayseeds. This was the same year that the aggy "officer" drew his sword on the SMU cheerleader and the LHB marched into aggy stadium holding little cocktail swords. Aggy fans noticed and started raining boos on us - we just smiled and basically did not give any fs. Longorns were victorious that day - 21-13. Hook 'em and stomp a mud hole in their asses. \m/

Road Trip - Athens (UGA)
True. But this group has the Steel Shank thread and Vic Mackey’s Friends Food thread. Preaching to the choir so to speak.

Road Trip - Athens (UGA)
Like others have said, the aquarium, Coca Cola Museum and Chattanooga would be the best places to visit. I used to call on medical device manufacturers in Chattanooga and always loved visiting the area. Chattanooga was the site for some major Civil War battles: The battle for Chattanooga and Missionary Ridge/Lookout Mountain. Lots of park areas with historical significance. For food recs, Jim N Nicks has good BBQ and homemade sides and there are several locations in Atlanta Metro - www.jimnnicks.com. And The Varsity has good chili dogs/burgers. The location near Georgia Tech is the original location and largest.

My kids loved this crap also. My brother and I called it "cherry vomit" when we were growing up.

July 4th Hill Country Flooding Tragedy
Platform with barges and cranes are starting to dredge the river at Ingram Dam. There are some search & rescue teams standing by. Not sure if that means there are remains they expect to find. The dredging crew has remove quite a bit of gravel and rocks on the island just west of the dam and they are also clearing our lots of dirt and rocks below the dam.

The cotton bowl is a shit hole
Sorry that some of ya'll had to go through the squatters. Sneaking in the game is a time honored tradition for some, but squatters suck. The Cotton Bowl was a shit hole the first time I went in 1964 to watch the Cowboys and the Dr. Frank Ryan led Cleveland Browns. I remember we has to park in someone's yard and my dad was hoping our car would still be there (it was). I also remember a kid about my age (6 years old at the time) asked my dad for a light for his cigarette and told my dad that he was Bob Hayes cousin. The Cowboys lost that day and I do remember crappy burgers for lunch with wax cup coke (no ice and with plastic cover on the lid) and after the game, El Chico mexican food next to the Cotton Bowl.

July 4th Hill Country Flooding Tragedy
I think it is Cile and one other adult. I may be wrong, but I think there are still two missing.

July 4th Hill Country Flooding Tragedy
Sadly, you are correct. I have talked with numerous first responders and the last two victims of the flood are probably under tons of gravel and rock that came down the river during the flood. Even when they found remains, it was typically a body part. The debris and rock in the flood tore apart people and animals in the churning water. RIP.
