  1. The PFF score fetishizing has really kicked up this season. Are there any former coaches or players that can opine on how closely their grading system matches up with that used by college programs? PFF Player Grades -2 to +2 on any given play. 0 being average.
  2. Full video is out there now. Stomach churning. No one helped even after guy was clearly leaving train. Very sad situation.
  3. Can you give an example of some good racial humor that doesn't lean into harmful stereotypes?
  4. And? You need to relax. I didn't claim it as a "source". I didn't say to click on the account or anything. I was just sharing the movie clip. I searched for PCU on twitter. Grow up.
  5. 2014/15? Anyway, yes this is all pendulum swinging stuff. Can anyone think of any taboo speech over the last several years, before last November? All this stuff goes way back. Tweet is from 2023. Has no one seen PCU?
  6. What's the issue? Men have stayed constant over 25 years. The significant change is with women.
  7. Well put. And it's not even the missing open receivers at times, it's the throwing it in the dirt 5 yards ahead of them that is jarring.
  8. I'm ok with blasting Venezuelan drug runners.
  9. Is it bubble or tunnel screen?
  10. Fun fact. Ultramarathons are the only sport where the elite women can beat the elite men.
  11. I missed this. What happened ?
  12. Nice screenshot.
  13. lol she looks exactly like you would expect.
  14. FWIW Goolsby was on Bruce Feldman’s freaks list. His measurables will check out for a high draft pick when the time comes.
  15. Thanks. I had already done that. Thus, I thought.
  16. I don’t know why it never occurred to me that this would happen. Parker is on their payroll obviously.
  17. Whoops I knew he played the first snap, but I thought Baxter had more touches. It’s sometimes hard to tell when you’re at the game and we were sitting pretty low.
  18. Well if he can beat out a 1,000 yd rusher for the start at less than 100% that’s great news. I’m curious how much more juice he gets back.
  19. All the people saying that Baxter was back because he ran with the 1s were wrong. He didn’t look the same. He’ll need to bulk up and be a bruiser for his nfl future. For the orthopedic doctors here, how much more explosion can you get back after a big injury if you’re already fit to play?
  20. Masking kids was known to cause speech and development delays. Made teaching and learning harder. Extended school closures set kids back educationally. Many lost from schools. This was obvious at the time but denied. These people chose protecting older people over kids. You have it all wrong and obviously have some political axe to grind. I should’ve never commented. Good luck in your quest to deny reality. What?
  21. Their kids masking recommendations were clearly harmful. They also worked with teacher unions to help keep schools closed. Again, clearly harmful. And was pointed out in real time. Not hindsight. Parents called it out in real time. And many moved their families across the country to change things. But it’s the kids that were wrong, Seymour. @TwiceHorn
  22. Even if you agree with that, which I don’t, if you fuck up your job repeatedly you and your processes and methods are in danger of being replaced.
  23. It isn’t justifying it. It’s explaining it so maybe people will get a better understanding. And voters definitely understood what happened during the pandemic. The CDC helped keep schools closed longer in significant parts of the country. They influenced the whole masking policy. They helped push COVID vaccine mandates. Walensky was all over TV constantly spouting all this stuff. You seem to be the one that doesn’t understand a la Seymour Skinner. There’s several differences in vaccine policy between us and western countries. In the UK for example they’re limiting Covid boosters to people over 75, nursing-home residents, and those with weakened immune systems. Their current guidance states, “in the current era of high population immunity to Covid-19, additional Covid-19 doses provide very limited, if any, protection against infection and any subsequent onward transmission of infection.”
