  1. If the top 3 in the final SEC standings aren’t a combination of Texas, OU, and Florida then some team had a surprisingly strong year
  2. Down goes USCw. Handle business against aggy and even Charlie Creme's dumbass should have us as a 1 seed.
  3. Remarkable collapse today. Texas took the doubles point and 5 first sets in singles and still found a way to lose. UVA is our daddy. All-Time Series 2025: 3-4 L, Charlottesville, VA. 2024: 3-4 L, Austin, Texas 2023: 1-4 L, Orlando, Fla. (NCAA Semifinals) 2017: 1-4 L, Athens, Ga. (NCAA Quarterfinals) 2013: 2-5 L, Austin, Texas 2012: 0-7 L, Charlottesville, Va. 2011: 2-5 L, Austin, Texas 2010: 4-9 L, Charlottesville, Va. 2009: 3-4 L, Austin, Texas 2008: 2-5 L, Charlottesville, Va. 2007: 4-3 W, Austin, Texas 2007: 0-4 L, Chicago, Ill. (ITA National Indoors) 2006: 4-3 W, Charlottesville, Va. 2005: 3-4 L, Austin, Texas 2004: 2-5 L, Charlottesville, Va.
  4. Was there really contention between the Mavs front office and Luka because of his fitness? imo who gives a shit if Luka isn't taking fitness seriously as long as he's producing. Nikola Jokic just won his team a chip a couple years ago and he's not exactly the most fit eastern european dude.
  5. I think Tucker has already kicked his final ball in the NFL given his age and accuracy decline. The Browns picked up Watson with the baggage because he was still in his prime, and that’s not the case with Tugger.
  6. This was a mirror image of our Baylor match last week. Lost a close doubles point and then won 4 singles with the final match coming down to a tiebreak.
  7. NCST wins the doubles point. We have lost 3 of 4 doubles points to start the season
  8. Although there is obviously a lot of viewership crossover with CFB and NFL, there is also a large audience of NFL fans that don’t watch CFB at all. From the musings I’ve gathered online, many of those NFL lifelongs are going to be tuning in to our games next season because of the Manning name and what the Manning’s have represented in the NFL over 3 generations
  9. Well our streak of close wins had to end eventually
  10. I guess its better to get the flu/covid now than in a week when we begin the 3 game stretch of SCAR/UK/LSU. If A Mo isn't back by then, Vic may have no choice but to go deeper in his bench to prevent the starters from burn out and fatigue. His practices need to be lighter for the time being.
  11. I didn’t get to watch this one, but Mizzou played us a lot closer than the 31.5 spread indicated. Looks like Rori and the team came out flat. Vic will likely blame himself in the presser for not having his players ready
  12. Damnit Justin, you were the quirky GOAT FG kicker that sang opera. Now you’re reduced to just being a creepy sex pest.
  13. Yeah it doesn’t look like Vic will be able to make Boutillier the next Tiara McCowan like he had hoped, but it was worth a shot
  14. RT this year is 0-1 against Barnes and 0-1 against Beard. Thank goodness Shaka isn't on our regular season schedule.
  15. Beard seems a lot more chill than he was at Texas.
  16. Our lead was erased in a hurry
  17. The only difference in this years pitching staff compared to last year is we added freshman Salmon to replace Czech who graduated.
  18. I think it would be a big mistake for our program to tell Chavez "sorry, we're full on guards". She's likely a generational talent, so you make room imo.
  19. I mean, who’s to say Phelia’s eye issues will improve next season? Sounds like it’s a recurring issue from a surgery long ago. We still need to try to land Chavez at all costs, or we may end up in a situation where Harmon needs to play 40 mins/game next season again.
  20. Apparently, he’s an international student which means his NIL cap is just $10,000. In other words, NIL was not a factor in his decision. He’s here because he wants to play for Texas.
  21. Rockets basketball is fun again. The NBA has changed a lot since the Rockets' Harden era, but winning makes a product more palatable.
  22. SCAR called off the dogs a little prematurely in the 4th quarter but they still won by 7. Mizzou is giving MSST a battle
  23. The Arizona schools give the Big12 a little RPI boost, but certainly not even close enough to replace the losses of Texas and OU. I could see an Arizona school winning the big12 if either Tech or OKST slip up
  24. If we can go 2-2 against USCe, LSU, @UK and @MSST I’ll be content. We also need to take care of business and win against Mizzou, Vandy, Florida, @aggy, @uga. That gets us to 13-3 and almost assuredly a double bye in the SEC tournament
