  1. 1. Split it into two forums…or keep as one?

I visit this forum often. I’ve always thought it should be two forums: Food & Beverage and Travel & Leisure. It’s pretty congested when trying to find one or the other in there. Great topics on both.

Thoughts?

Food and travel go hand in hand. Who doesn’t enjoy eating at an Olive Garden in Milan?

I’m for splitting Movies & TV into two threads.

I'm for locking the megathreads for each streaming service and instead having dedicated threads for individual shows instead of a dozen or more simultaneous lukewarm discussions happening in parallel.

Splitting either Food/Travel or Movies/TV will create two dead forums just like the book fag forum. Just like the UT sports, just like the nerdz forum, just like the video game forum.

For Examples:

Hobbies
Video Games: Only 11 threads have been particpated in during September, 3 within the last week.
Bookfags: 5 participated within the last week, 7 total in september. Then you go all the way back to June.
Nerdz: 2 in the last week, 5 total in september participation.

So 10 active threads in the last week and 23 total in september warrants 3 different forums, nah.

Same with..

Other Sports
UT Sports: 6 active in the last week, 10 total for month of September
Futbol: Is fairly active with 14 active in the last week and 19 total threads in september.

Creating too many sub-forums within the forums only limits conversation IMO.

Totally agree. Limiting conversation is a bad thing.

So why are you against having a regular game thread that everyone can use on every platform?
