According to PFF Arch’s self-pressure rate is ~11%. That puts him in the 90th percentile for qualified QBs (that’s very good). As a reference Quinn was the 11th most self-pressured among qualified QBs last year. So most of Arch’s pressures are coming from poor protection

PFF doesn't count time holding the ball. Still have all the winning teams left on the schedule. Let's check back in a bit shall we?

As crazy as this sounds, and despite what Tom Brady has to say, I think everyone is being too easy on Arch, and I understand why, he really does seem like a great kid from a great family. But when you're making 6 million a year, and affecting the careers of dozens of players and coaches, it's time to be a big boy. I didn't appreciate what Arch had to say about his rediculous throw to Jack Endries. "Oh well, I'LL get it to him next time" to paraphrase. That's not the way a great player talks. They say things like "I appologized to the team, it's inexcusable, it can't happen again" And it wouldn't hurt to take a cue from Quinn Ewers and trim that mop on his head, it's time to grow up.

I think we are probably all overreacting a bit.  Quinn had some pretty ass ache level games in his first year starting, but he at least had Bijan, Worthy and JT.

We don’t have anybody on the roster as good as those 3 currently.  Are we being overly emotional and histrionic fucktards?  I hope that time will tell us that we absolutely are.

I have rewatched Kentucky second half twice now. The dude just needs to throw BP fastballs to these wide open receivers, not World Series Game 7 fastballs. Seems like everything is a laser trying to hit the guy perfectly in stride. Just complete the damn pass.

You've got a stronger stomach than I do.

For safety's sake, please allow the appropriate interval of time between viewing "street-pure" videos of the Texas offense.

On the plus side, though, it's only addictive for the hardest core masochists.

We have issues and this board is a beating but if yall want to see castles crumbling go checkout lsu, penn st. , Clemson boards. They have worse offenses and had the same expectations we had. They’re out for blood cause they’re actually losing. Ugly win is better than pretty loss.

Are there offense really worse than ours?

That’s crazy if so, because ours is bad, bad. The sad thing is, with Swoopes we really didn’t have any talent to help him out. Maybe a running back, don’t remember. But we do have talent this year, WR and TE are better than those years.

Worse was a strong word but inconsistent is more like it. I was just saying there  are a lot of teams besides us that are stinking it up compared to expectations. Winning is better than losing no matter how it looks. If I were to tell you we’ll win the rest of our games 16-13 and look like shit but win a national championship, everyone will take it even how unlikely that would be. Im in the were young and immature on offense side and will get better whether this year or next. And we’ll win all our home games in my mind. 2 rough away games that could go either way depending on what qb we get.

I would take Andrew Beck, Connor Williams, and D Foreman on this offense in a heartbeat.
