LaGuardia to Chelsea. Subway or Taxi?

From LaGuardia you need to take a car unless you are really trying to pinch pennies. You’d have to take a bus to a subway/LIRR connection in queens, and then another subway to Chelsea.

Thanks, taxi it is. Last time we were in town we almost got caught in the tunnel for an extended amount of time, and our cabbie told us he gets stuck in traffic there several times a week for a couples hours each time. Was hoping to avoid that possibility, but I checked the NYC subway app after I made the above post and realized there’s no easy way to do that. Kinda like you guys already said.
