It was a damn good looking movie, but the tonal shift to vampires in the 3rd Act (and I like vampire movies, of all varieties) was jarring.  As a metaphor for race relations, it was a pretty mixed grab bag, partially undone by the script (Like, what happen to the Choctaw Vampire Hunters?). The movie was trying to say something about rece relations and music, as well, but again, it was confusing at best. I though Michael B. Jordan did a very entertaining job playing Stack and Smoke, and good lord does Hailee Steinfeld have a mouth on her.

And like almost every movie made these days, it would have benefited from a stronger editorial hand to shave 15-20 minutes off the run time.  Still, I'd watch it again just because of how good it looked.  Movies these days just rarely entertain the eyes the way Sinners did.
