  1. Aggy should abstain so the vote is 13-0 and then we can then brand it on their dog.

  2. Lets be clear, a&m didn't "get wind" of anything. That implies they uncovered something on their own. They were finally told it was happening because it was happening and they had to be told at some point, so they got the Birds and the Bees about who fucks and who gets fucked, and then they started their predictable and hilarious meltdown. Don't even imply any credit that they figured something out. They got told.

  5. Hahahahhaha this is absolute pure comedy. My god, they got their pants pulled down and spanked in public. So instead of pulling their pants up and moving on, they chose to take off their pants entirely, shit into them and then wear those pants as a hat

  7. Mrs. GOTJ has been following this a bit as I've given her updates the past few days. "Hey babe, looks like Texas and OU are going to the SEC." "Really? Why? "Money. Power. Just the way the world is turning." "Oh. OK. Well, since it's our anniversary Saturday and we're going to the Driskill and a show at the Paramount you're NOT going to be staring at your phone all weekend on that place with the cartoon dick pics looking for updates, right?"

  8. LSU fan here, lived in Austin for a few years, wanting to give some thoughts on the situation with the other fan bases. The response on SEC Rant to this potential shift has been mixed-to-toxic. The fact of the matter is SECR posters are notoriously dumb as a rule. Most of the time they’re just trying to troll each other and aren’t interested in real discussion. I don’t take them very seriously (even on the Tiger Rant side) and you really shouldn’t either. That said, I think there’s a grain of truth to how they feel about it with how they’re reacting, and it boils down to A&M fans setting up expectations for the worst. I went to the LSU game in Austin rocking my purple and gold, and Texas fans were as nice as could be from start-to-finish, which had generally been my experience with y’all too when I went to Big 12 games watching on the Texas side. Some of the more crybaby fans from A&M (and a few from LSU who had a bad experience in 2019) keep crying about how mean old Texas is arrogant and is trying to gut the conference. They’re just scared of having another National brand to compete with, honestly. I understand the beef with the SEC since ESPN has done their best to market a perversion of the southern school’s camaraderie that formed in 2004 when Auburn got left out in favor of Oklahoma for a shot at USC (camaraderie which has since then died off), but in the end you’ll probably be able to accept it like we do, because it brings recruits and money, even if it’s annoying. And believe me, it annoys a lot of LSU fans - I have seen my share of threads of people wanting to leave the SEC over it and their Alabama little brother syndrome. If this move does happen I look forward to more games in Austin. Texas has a different culture than most of the other schools, but if we can accept Missouri for being the weirdos that they are, we can definitely have fun with Texas in the mix.

  10. I’m fucking tired of reading stories and comments about how Texas is a terrible conference partner and killed the SWC and Big 12. SMU, TCU and A&M killed the SWC by being fucking morons about openly giving cars and massive bags of cash to recruits in ways that brought NCAA scrutiny. Most of the league ends up on probation and can’t be on TV. To put the nail in the coffin, Arkansas leaves for the SEC and the conference is dead. How was that Texas’s fault? With the Big 12, Missouri gets on its knees and begs to join the Big 10. Nebraska leaves because it can’t beat Texas on the field without partial qualifiers and tailbacks who drag girlfriends by the hair down staircases. Colorado leaves for the PAC 10 because they never liked being in the Big 8. Texas tried extremely hard to save the Big 12. We invited A&M to participate in a Texas sports network. It’s not our fault they were too fucking stupid to say yes. When Beebe said the conference payouts don’t need to be shared equally, Texas said that wasn’t necessary. A&M forced the unequal payouts and then left the next year over the LHN.

  18. The knobs here whining about culture fit or vacation trips are hilarious. And by hilarious, I mean you need to take stock and pull your fucking heads out of your collective asses. You act like we don't have an extensive and storied tradition of dealing with a bunch of fucking rock stupid, atavistic waterheaded, inbred sister fucking stupid pieces of shit as conference mates, for literally almost the entirety of our existence. For fuck's sake, we have more experience dealing with that kind of stupidity than we do as a winning program, and we're the goddamn second winningest program of all time. Or we were, until we spent the last decade fucking a duck and shitting away recruits to the motherfuckers who passed us up. But yeah, keep talking about culture fit, even though being down to a conference the last decade with just one sister fucker dropped us from 2-4 all time in wins, AND we've still had to deal with the mind numbing stupidity of Aggy Fans and LSU fans all through Texas screaming SEC! SEC!, plus OU fans, all while we lose ground. Get the fuck over yourselves. Playing them in football doesn't mean you have to suddenly start fucking your sister and indoctrinating your children at age .25. If it does, well, I guess you should have some explaining as to what you've been doing your entire fucking lives to this point, because guess what you're definitely a culture fit and protesting too much. As for the vacation people, get fucked. There's a half dozen great college football towns to visit, which is more than we have now. Pull yourselves together you mewling little bitches.

  20. Because OU is confident enough to make their own decisions - and if the best option is joining your biggest rival, they don’t have some inferiority complex that precludes them from making that decision. This isn’t hard Mandel (said his wife).

  22. What you'll learn is that our perception of a bad conference mate is completely overblown and driven by two programs: 1) a team that's national prominence began to decline as soon as they entered a conference with us so we are the easy target (also we beat the shit out of them lol) and 2) our little brother that has been trying to get out of our shadow for decades. The one true blue blood that we've been associated with thinks we are such a bad partner that they've been willing to be attached to our hip for every single realignment rumor. If your program is secure enough to realize that everything that goes wrong isn't big bad Texas's fault, then we will get along just fine.

  23. What constant threats? I like you and I like Iowa State. I would prefer reality to allow more local conferences to work. I want the Cyclones to have a seat at the main table. But all that said you're being way too whiny about this. Texas and OU signed the last agreement and are trying to honor it up until the notification deadline (that's certainly at least partially because of contractual obligations). Neither leaked this information. Neither constantly threatens to leave. Now it's true that both have a lot of fans who constantly talk about leaving the Big 12, but you've been claiming you're mad at the schools and their athletic departments and not the fans but the ADs aren't the ones constantly threatening to leave. So be consistent. Neither school wants to put themselves in a position to be left behind like some schools are in right now. The very fact you feel like you do right now should clearly explain why they're making this move for their programs, schools, and alumni.
