  1. I still believe Joe Biden is too old to be President. His age is inherently a national security risk. That said, he has far exceeded my expectations of him so far. I am proud to have voted for him in 2020 and will proudly vote for him again in 2024 assuming he is against Trump or DeSantis or any other turd that currently has a chance to win the GOP primary. Russia losing a kinetic war that doesn’t endanger American troops. Seeds of reform in Iran. China more vulnerable than they’ve been in 30 years. Lowest unemployment in history. And, most importantly, no daily fucking deluge of idiocy that undermines our democracy, promotes racism, and reduces the presidency to a fucking insane reality show.

Not only did my dad drive his tank β€˜Blondie’ from France through Belgium and the Rhineland and eventually into Czechoslovakia where he parked it, this American patriot also did his best to improve German-American relations after the war ended, and he was on occupation duty. See here a photo of his trust building exercise with a rude, blonde FrΓ€ulein. I am here to tell my Surly brothers and sisters that I will honor my father’s memory and also seek to improve relationships with young Russian women after Putinβ€˜s defeat.

  4. I hear you saying this and nothing would be more satisfying than having some of Russias terrorism revisited upon them. But it would still be terrorism. Moreover, leaving aside any moral high ground that would inevitably be ceded in that case, what about resources? What makes you think Ukraine has the ability to visit upon Russia what has been visited upon them? It seems to me that their current tack, saying they just want their borders back, is both morally and economically convenient. Also, as Parliament notes and others have rightfully said in some way or another, find the battlefield where the decisive action will take place, and focus your resources there. Russia shooting at apartment buildings is a distraction. If Ukraine did the same, it would also be a distraction. The war will be won or lost between the current front line and the Ukrainian border of Donbas/Luhansk/Crimea. The rest is window dressing. Making some Russians suffer at home won't change the course of the war. It didn't do it when the Nazis bombed Moscow and London. It didn't do it when we bombed Hanoi. It didn't do it when Russia bombed Karkhiv or Kyiv. It won't do it if Ukraine taps Moscow or Belgorod. Focus on the fight that matters. Besides, the fires that seem to keep popping up at inopportune places and times for the Russians is pretty groovy and I'm happy to see that kind of covert work going on.

  27. This string of the latest shit they're discussing is astounding even for those dumb motherfuckers. Some of the most ignorant shit I've ever read on the Internet, and I've had people in ops for digital businesses sending me images and emails from moronic customers for two decades. This stuff beats that shit and has to be coming from some of the same clowns. Holy shit the stupidity. That considered, there's a recurring theme I keep reading from these idiots and I've also heard it when they call in to some of the national radio shows. That theme is basically this: Texas fans will not get along with other SEC fans and it will ruin the league. I guess I have a few thoughts about that. 1) I've been to SEC stadiums and watched Texas play there. I've seen other SEC fans come to DKR to watch their teams play Texas. I've yet to see anything resembling the kind of cataclysmic incident that these rubes foretell. Do they think we've never been around other SEC fans? They know we've had like 6 SEC match-ups in the past decade+, right? Am I forgetting the moments in which we played Ole Miss or Bama and a massive prison riot, replete with spontaneous angry buttfuckings, unfolded leaving their fans dead, wounded or shamed? Has anyone reported these transgressions to the UN? 2) What exactly are the consequences, to anyone, of not getting along with other fans, for whatever reason, online? Is there some sort of misery index that we're unaware of that has ramifications to our affiliation with a league? What the fuck is going on here? 3) What are they expecting Texas fans to do at other stadiums that will have SEC fans ruing the day we joined the conference? Are we going to require spot quizzes on Ancient Rome or Calculus that cause fans in the SEC to dread seeing us? Is there an assumption that we're going to show up in ascots and turtlenecks and start slapping opposing fans with our handkerchiefs? Again, what in the fuck is going on here? 4) These people seem to really have major emotional trauma when it comes to Texas. Like, deep psychological wounds drawing out the worst kind of commentary about neighbors fellow citizens of Texas and the USA. It's somewhat disturbing to read that clowns of this nature are gathering together online and making plans. And please, no fucking Cloak Room. Just bask in the sports aspect of their utter hysterics about us as people. As bizarrely disturbing as it is, it is also, in the pettiest way possible, deeply gratifying.

  28. This discussion has gone full dumbass. Their arguments are premised on the falsehood that doctors are transitioning minors anytime a parent or child asks for it, while ignoring that it is very rare, and when it happens it is with extensive consultation among professionals, parents, and the child. There's no reason to argue with these people, they want to believe falsehoods. They'll be on this until the bathroom falsehoods make the headlines again.

  30. The single biggest and most necessary factor, by far, for Ukraine’s success in this war is continued and escalating Western support. There are plenty of forces acting as a brake and Ukraine needs to do anything it can to not feed those forces, which any sort of terror campaign against civilians would do. The single best reason not to terrorize Russian civilians in Russia is the simple fact that Russia keeps accusing them of plotting to do so. The Doolittle Raid is not a good analogue. There were two, equally important symbolsβ€” first, we can get you at home. Secondβ€” you can’t get us. It was a preview of what was to come. If Japan had been able to respond by launching a volley of cruise missiles into Baltimore and Washington, the whole mission would have been much less of a good idea. These kind of symbolic attacks cost Ukrainian lives with retaliation and if they also resulted in Western blanching at more support, they’re worse than useless.

  37. and I give you Kim Petras the first transgender woman to win a Grammy… German born, lives in LA now, age 30, single puberty, she started psychotherapy at 10, changed her name at 12, can’t tell the medical but she announced she was having surgery when she was 16. Very well may be the youngest ever to fully transition. I’m not going to assume Ana is a nefarious conservative he said he’s not on this issue. However, with no money in trans research, I can say that for 70+ years the mantra has been β€œwe don’t know” and β€œmore research is needed” and those arguments are not genuine (even if a genuine researcher is opining) - because they are picked up by others who are not compassionate doctors - they are picked up and advanced by gatekeepers and politicians and are used to first block transition of adults which was largely successful for the entire span of the 1950’s until the 2000’s when legal resources finally started allowing legal transitions. Now the frontier is with trans kids and here is their great fear…. it’s not the well-being of trans kids, it’s the normalization of trans identities to the point where life saving treatment can be given early enough so you have a complete healthcare outcome with the intended puberty - one where the gatekeepers and the politicians who want to identify, ostracize, and eliminate cannot do anything because every argument they use against women like me now loses (they generally lose on women like me too but most of us can be outed without our consent so fear tactics work. This is why we cannot treat trans kids because if we force it into adulthood there is we can better keep tabs on them, we can put up road blocks, we can force them to decide between life / happiness and destroying their lives and on and on. When trans people can have effective treatment allowing them to fully transition and keep their identities to themselves or come out at their choosing, then the trans community will have what it’s sought for the last 70+ years, the right to peacefully coexist. And that is what they don’t want. well that and being deathly afraid they accidentally fapped to a trans woman or are found out to have done so.
