After an uneven (to be kind) performance against the Wyoming Cowboys (Maybe better than we thought) and a non conference schedule that finished 3-0 for the first time since Anthony Hill was 6, the Longhorns get to the part we’ve been waiting for intently for 3 years. We are about to haul ass from this meth infested, mobile home park located in a desolate, plain-scape wasteland, and take our retarded sister fucking step-cousins with us, to a nicer, southern (and Missouri) hicks from the sticks made good bedroom community. before we go there’s some goodbyes that need to be said and smooth buttfuckings that need to be handed out. Baylor, I can’t say I will miss your cat (and basketball player) killing, rape enabling faux Baptist culture. Take your toilet bowl on the river with its seats covered every time texas isn’t in town and shove them up your fucking asses. 100 years of playing you was 99 too many. I won’t miss a thing about that dump you call a city nor your fake pious $70,000 private school 13th grade. You get the privilege of being the first road kill in the 2023 Texas “Embrace The Hate” decimation of this shit hole you call home. BOHICA bitches and fuck off. Game thoughts and articles and stuff here.53 points

Since I'm the only fucker on this board that actually knows and follows mwc football....Wyoming is talented and bohl is a good coach. Texas was always going to win, but it was their superbowl and the horns were on hangover patrol. This isn't the same as playing down to competition in years past. This was facing a decent team and finally saying fuck it and winning. On to next week.21 points

You're saying Sark didn't coach a full game against Alabama? Jesus fuck some of you.15 points

I still remember the screw job the SWC refs did to us in Grant Teaff's farewell game against Texas in 1992. That shit still pisses me off to this day - on top of all the murdering and raping that has gone on there over the years, and the way so much of their fanbase acts morally superior to everyone else in spite of these events. Good riddance.14 points

Damn, that's harsh. She's not a beauty queen but far than whatever the hell shit rail fence means. I'm sure someone on this board knows who she is and I hope comments like this don't get back to her. If she was some random ousux or aggy chick rail away.14 points

Baylor is complete garbage, like convincing argument they’ll be the worst team Texas has played to date terrible. Texas has legitimate issues and this game is no doubt Baylor’s season at this point; even so, a 2+ score win should be the expectation. Baylor is just that bad. Anything less and it’s hard to be optimistic about Texas doing what it needs to in conference play. Also on the happy to never play Baylor again train. They are really the only B12 team I strongly feel that for. Shit program, shit institution, shit fans.12 points

It drives me nuts that they feel like they have to fill every moment with sound. It is fucking exhausting.12 points

This is the first of the big 12 farewell games. We can't let fucking Baylor have eternal scoreboard on us. We can't give them any sort of Justin Tucker moment that they can jerk it to for forever. Fuck Baylor. We need to mudhole these assholes and give them something to remember as we give them the finger walking out of Waco for thankfully the last time ever.11 points

Then maybe you haven’t paid attention to this particular crew when they have officiated our games. They fuck us every time. Not an accident.11 points

There was a play in the second half where Texas got a decent gain, went up-tempo and got lined up quickly and were ready to snap the ball, and the ref went up and stood over the ball so Wyoming's substitute D-linemen had time to get on the field and get lined up.... even though Texas had not subbed. I've never seen that.11 points

We replacing a 5 star who dicked around our coaches, openly fucked with Texas, and went to Tech with an OOS 5 star stud and you're.... being snarky about it?10 points

What evidence is there at all that A&M has sure victories against anyone in their conference? Weigman is good and they have excellent receivers. Okay. True The world keeps repeating that they are the 4th most talented team in the country. Based on what? Can you really be so talented and have such a miserable losing streak against D1 teams that, by the same metric, are comparative pygmies? It's an idiotic statement to keep repeating. Discussion of talent level should not revolve around some abstract notion. It does not take a world class offense to exploit their secondary. Their five-star DL has not established itself as any more than ordinary in the pass rush. They will be in danger from ordinary passing attacks. Olin the Dull pointed to their run defense being a bright spot. Is it not natural that a team who is easily exploited in one phase will have better stats in another? A&M is not easy to run on, but we've seen teams do it. Why run for 3 yards in one play when you can pass for 8 in two attempts? They quit. Not Weigman and the skill positions on O, but the rest do. They show inconsistent intensity. The fact that the Aggies are so terrible on the road could suggest that their players actually need a favorable atmosphere to expend the effort necessary to beat a D1 team. Last year, that often wasn't enough. Their culture is rotten and their coach would be gone except for his often-discussed contract. Inspiring! Every conference game they play is a toss-up at best. Alabama playing murderball will be a problem if their secondary doesn't buck up and support the line. I haven't seen LSU. I expect Heupel is familiar enough with a passing attack to be quite prepared. The Aggies may turn it around and start getting maximum effort, team cohesion, and displays of their alleged overall talent level, but I don't see why that will happen. Will they have someone who was a seeming mercenary like X. Worthy talking team? Do they have any chemistry at all? No, my friends, I don't see the Aggies healing themselves and becoming a team with a sense of great things.10 points

Ngl, as much as I've hated on Galindo and the repetitive ads over the years, sad this is the last LHN football broadcast. Nobody else gets a 100% homer pre game and post game show like this.10 points

They are not a +7 team. They absolutely will fucking rig any game without shame and do so in multiple ways, from delays, slowing tempo, useless reviews, un-reviewable calls, bad spots, unsportsmanlike, different rule books, overlooking everything one team does, making up calls, outright bullshit (taking away TDs, interceptions, fumbles), or declaring them. They are not thumb-on-the-scales biased, they are outright rigging games. The only way to counter them is to completely whip the other team's ass all day long. That OU game where they came roaring back was completely brought to you by the B12. TH, CS, and SS have all lost games due to outright fuckery. For fucks sake, if they had any decency, they would be fucking over baylor in officiating because they are a shit school with shit administration that covers up actual crimes and harms victims of crime.9 points

That’s the play, and always has been. “They all tell lies!” And “they’re all crooked!” They use that to ignore differences in DEGREE. It’s an approach that would have you look at a jaywalker and Ted Bundy and give Ted a pass because “they’re both criminals!” It’s stupid. But stupid is our brand.9 points

Both Alabama and Texas were a little hungover after last week's game. Lots of emotion, hype, etc. Plus Saban got cute with his trash backup qbs. Reality is that about 1/3 of your games aren't going to be your standard. Tbh, a little adversity and a tough game against a team you're favored against isn't the worst thing. Georgia still hasn't played well this year and we're down more against South Carolina. FSU should have lost to a shitty BC team. Would you rather be Tennessee, who got run over by an offensive line led by Bama castoff Damien George and a Wisconsin reject graham mertz? I'm pretty fucking stoked to be 3-0 at this time. The key is to make enough plays against bad teams to win when you aren't playing your best and to make sure you match up your a game with the times you need it most. This team is young but I like the trajectory. If they can't play consistently they'll drop a couple games but I'm optimistic this game, as much as Alabama, will be a great learning experience. And we truly haven't played a dogshit team yet. I expect we'll take care of business the next two weeks and roll into the cotton bowl 5-0. Looking forward to watching this team beat the shit out of Baylor, who is more likely to get an a game9 points

Yeah, some of the Jumbotron stuff is painfully loud. I guarantee you it would be possible to thoughtfully create content for the Jumbotron that would make the crowd MORE engaged in the game in front of them. Instead, we take our own fucking crowd out of the game and turn them into a hundred thousand passive, Idiocracy-style "Ouch, My Balls" watchers. It's criminally incompetent. Playing Judas Priest's "Breaking the Law" after an opposing team's penalty.... ugh. It's a fifty fucking year old song. It isn't clever. It's K-State power-kitty levels of high-school goofiness. Ditto for "Don't Do Me Like That" after a penalty on Texas. Our Jumbotron does for home field advantage what Lowell Galindo does for sports broadcasting.9 points
