  16. US News lists them as having 16% of students live on campus. That does not necessarily tell the entire story, as a small percentage of UT students live on campus, but almost everyone lives in private apartments/housing near campus. I'm not sure if UH has built up that level of private housing around the school. Everyone I know that went to UH for undergrad lived at home and commuted across town, but that was 20 years ago or so.
