  1. Anyone getting in early investment for the movie about the UKa “nerd drone” division that keeps destroying “critical targets”? I’d have to imagine a script is already in production. Revenge of the nerds 2022 reboot?
  2. And to think I sold this years ticket for a year when I thought he would be there. Son of a bitch, should be walking Augusta tomorrow.
  3. Tl:dr-awesome texas ball at the bottom from the 2006 champ game, father in-law looks like woody harrelson, acts like him too but somehow got to his good side to make a dream come true. *I titled it “story” because it’ll be long, I apologize but it’s Sunday so why not read. In 2005/2006, I was a spry 14 years old and already a diehard longhorn. I remember the cotton bowl against LSU when Roy went off and that was the confirmation I wanted to cheer for the burnt Orange for life. I decided to chase my golf career and wasn’t “Texas good”so never technically went there but convinced my brother years before to go and so I was in Austin a ton during my high school years. During the year, we all know the year, I had a feeling it was the time. During that game itself on the 4th down, I was jumping up and down so much that our giant, not flat screen had broken the stand it was on. One of the best moment for my life as I’m sure many others here. Anyway, fast forward to 2018 and I met the love of my life and also got to meet her father. We got to talking about sports and found out he was a USC fan and once I said I was a longhorn fan, he started to laugh hysterically as I stood in confusion. He goes “shut up and follow” and into the garage we went. He grabbed this box in the corner and out comes this Football that says “2006 National Championship game” with some autos on it and the first one I see, is Vince. Holy hell. Then leinart, then Reggie, then Mack then Pete then…well lendale. I’m sweating, shaking, I’m like this is the holy grail for me. He says, “if you treat my daughter well and marry her, I’ll give it to you.” Im Like whoa that’s a.. “ha im just kidding, I can’t give this away, I won it at this private banquet where only 5 chairs had a note for a ball underneath and I had one of those. No way can I let this go”. I’m like you jackass because he is in a semi-endearing way. Somehow 4 years later I was engaged to his daughter. We had to visit him because, well, of liver issues from years of you know what. It wasn’t looking pretty. After he got out of the hospital, he was still in tons of pain from procedures and just everything but he got out of our sight and we were scurrying to find him. Well, he was in the garage looking at the ball. I approached and he turned and said, “this is just in a box in my garage, I know you will enjoy this more than me. Don’t fuck with my daughter or this ball will not only be in your body but will be way up there. You know how my daughter likes the packers, yeah you know what I mean.” Note taken. Sure it’s not game used but to get a high quality item from the greatest game in history, at least in my and any smart person’s eyes. Not only did I jump up and down during the game, but I did over a decade later when I got it home. I know the recent years have been painful but I wouldn’t change the joy that picking the horns has brought me as well as an item I thought I’d never own. (Also some future heart attacks but that goes unneeded to be said) Hook em! 🤞please work photo🤞
  4. Why am I getting confused about the Mitchell’s? Isn’t the freshman 6’7” 200 and therefore a forward, not a guard? Who is the Mitchell that would be a guard, aren’t both forwards?
  5. Every few years I get the rare chance of getting to admit I spent one year of my undergrad at St.Peter’s university. To know the difference in facilities between St. Peter’s and Kentucky is absolutely incredible.
  6. A short story that hopefully isn’t connected to anything soon: grew up in the Midwest, spent my middle school/high school years in Kansas City. I used to play roller and ice hockey on a travel team so we were always around this same group of families as we traveled playing hockey. One of the kids that was one of my better friends had a dad that was a pilot out of Whiteman in Missouri. I guess I thought his dad was a fighter jet pilot because when I was there for a weekend, he took us to show what he flies…a B-2 Bomber. Being 9/10, we were allowed to look in the plane but I remember that still being pretty quick and hush hush. We got to fly the simulator which was fun of course but always wondered about that guy. There were a couple times where he would run out of tournaments or not be there the next day for “missions”. Looking back he could have been having a mistress but 9/11 did happen shortly after so didn’t see him for quite some time. As cool as it was to see those things fly, I sure hope we aren’t using those anytime soon.
  7. whoever posted that YouTube video of the guy telling the “real, strategic events of the war-unbiased”. Just want to give you a big FUthanku for making me dive into a phone-hole and spend way too much time figuring out what is true and what isn’t and are WE being fed “propaganda” but no way is that possible or is it but what about this and that map. Yeah thank you whoever it was.
  8. I know that video is sadly really nothing new but damn there were some graphic images on it. Was not expecting that.
  9. Yes, I know shame on me. I can’t believe I am having to sell them either. Long story short, am selling 2 for the Tuesday practice round. Will have them in hand tomorrow and can meet up in DFW or happy to priority ship. Price currently looks to be around 1250 each but open to offers. I know it’s late but it’s a once in a lifetime…nevermind, you already know!
  10. Have a lot of people here who don’t understand addiction-which I guess is good. As someone who has been addicted to aforementioned fentanyl, Everything will eventually be cut with it. Dealers do it, no it’s not usually cross contamination, to increase the chances of getting someone hooked. Can trick people into thinking they “need” coke but really it’s the fent that’s the hook. If done in the right “measurements” then the coke “high” is still there with a stronger addictive hook lingering in the fent. Sometimes or most times it’s sadly too strong and takes a few out.
  11. See I want to believe that but then every morning I wake up and it’s somehow longer and more deadly and just stalking. I’m torn.
  12. Really? No one is going to try to comment on the map on the left above? Geez. Must be Wednesday, wait…
  13. Ok so the players played with heart and played hard. I agree that’s not very “smartian” but no one else felt that it was over after their run around 6-7 minutes left to take the lead? A) we never could put anyone away under smart B) I’m not saying their wasn’t better coaching, effort, anything like that. Just felt like a smart loss because we didn’t put them away for 36 minutes, then once they took the lead it just felt like there was no way of getting it back. If that’s not like a “smart” loss then I’ll find a better word but that’s what I meant. It felt like a meltdown with no way to stop it and that hasn’t happened too often this year.
  14. I hate to say it because I haven’t in some time but this feels like a Shaka loss. Shivers
  15. Don’t find the guy on you tube that makes all of these videos on different ways to dribble that look like traveling but technically aren’t. You’ll be throwing things at the screen-shifting pivot foot legally, jump Dribbles, jump shot but leaving toe on ground, but all to another annoying level.
  16. This is where I fall. Watched it this weekend with my fiancé and visiting mother who are not knowledgable on his style and other movies. They thought it was “cute” and liked how it was shot and the overall look. I already knew all of that but I was just missing the glue you could say. Very interesting concept that I think could have been great in some sort of slightly different way. If a movie isn’t making me crack up, think deeply, be on a thrill ride or see great nudity…then I think it could be tweaked a little bit or a lot. Didn’t have the same comedic value as darj.
  17. If only you knew doc, if only you knew. I wonder if that’s a church quote or a “room” quote. Could be both. And for anyone saying “that’s clearly biblical”…it’s one of those if you know, you know things.
  18. The way “analysts” talk about this QB it’s hard not to go full on koolaidman.gif. This past weekend him bijan and worthy were doing an auto signing and I thought I really would just get bijan and worthy because…well I expect to be collecting their cards in a year or so. But if this guy is the next prodigy I will sadly be surprised and that jadedness, I do not like. I wish they could righteous gemstone it right out of me but it’s been a decade of my young, spoiled vy10 life…
  19. I know this is a far out dream but any interest from Richard young? I saw he’s visiting the scum to the north, but that he is also watching Arch closely and might want to play together. Guessing we would need arch first before any “interest”/visits.
  20. Weren’t we supposed to have a couple top freshman coming in that made it through the draft? Who are they and are they playing? Little late to the start of the season but great to see a…fucking rice cooker of a start of the year.
  21. Acie law v Durant was pretty wild. But yes acc by a smidge probably
