  1. I remember when Ian Boyd was big on bringing this guy in after we missed on Kyler. In 2015.
  2. Bullpen can't blow it if they're never put in
  3. Sure. My point was that Fardaws Aimaq is not Jarrett Culver, who left college after two years.
  4. Beard must be a helluva salesman for those kids to buy that shit.
  5. As a lover of the evolution of names over time, I appreciate his parents' remix of Semaj (James backwards). We're now seeing variations on that (Semaje, S'maje, etc.). All names were new once!
  6. I guess what sticks out in my mind is how much Mitchell just abused Mitch Lightfoot in the first Kansas game on simple drop steps, and Disu looked like he was going to crumple into pieces half the time.
  7. I think we need some beef. Disu looked uncomfortable with his body 50% of the time but the talent was obvious - that being said he's still a skinny dude. A beefy 6'9" guy can push Edey off the block or help to double Williams in that game - watching Brock try to get leverage on Williams when he was getting backed down from the elbow was sad. Bishop only qualified as a physical post defender when the refs would let him - maybe he works on that. I think T Mitchell had a lot of potential as a skrong guy but that bridge is burned. Give me a homeless man's DaJuan Blair to grab boards, be fat, make layups, and not be run off the floor against perimeter fours. Easier said than done I guess.
  8. Is there any chance he hires an offensive guru to spice up the Motion offense?
  9. Would seem to bode well that he's not going to the G League
  10. Will be interesting to know the Title IX implications and how those were followed. My Mom knew some folks at TAMU judicial affairs back in the day when she ran that for LSU.
  11. I distinctly remember someone on TexAgs (or 247) with a long post analyzing Jimbo's posture next to Reveille that ended with the phrase "Yield to Alpha"
  12. As opposed to their normal colloquial name, which is what slaves would call the mistress of the house.
  13. Gotcha. Was just wondering since 2019 it seemed like Jimbo was throwing bags of cash around and we grabbed some kids out of state to stem the bleeding. But we are even more removed from success since then.
  14. Is the intel from CTJ et al. that we are behind on the in-state kids only? Maybe we see a good out of state class like Herman's 2019? (good meaning ranking wise, not how those kids turned out obviously).
  15. Was wondering the same myself. IT's would be interesting, or TFB's since they were willing to quote a dollar figure for Neyor.
