  1. Eh, I guess? 2014-2015 felt like Charlie was in over his head, we weren't getting anyone, and A&M had all the momentum. Seems that way right now to me (at least on the crootin' front). Realize that Sark is facing some headwinds Charlie wasn't but we have this staff of ex Bama bag men and can't get anyone to visit.
  2. Complaining about cheating is very dumb. We should also cheat and cheat better, if by “cheat” you mean remunerate the benefits of the kids labor (or potential labor) to them in exchange for them playing for Texas. We won’t win shit until we stop being high and mighty about this bullshit.
  3. This is what makes programs into contenders, yeah
  4. There is no reason for Texas to have the governor on with these type of bag man things, if that’s what’s happening. It’s entirely hubris. Pay up or keep being mediocre.
  5. Mhm. Really sad responses here.
  6. Does anyone have any idea what's going on with Anthony Cook?
  7. The beginning of that article says "it's a down year for defensive players in Texas." I hope the recruits in Texas know that appears to be what Elko thinks of them!
  8. Damon Sayles appears to have changed his CB on Shepherd.
  9. What sort of “outing” are y’all advocating here with regard to FWK? If he has an elite prospect we want we will have to play the game. Otherwise don’t. Is he committing some criminal offense I’m unaware of (actual, sincere question)? The orchestration of this whole thing probably involves some untaxed cash changing hands I guess
  10. what is the aversion to playing the game with the handlers?
  11. lol remember Baylor Rhules Texas
  12. Y’all, do we know Mike Williams is dirt poor? He definitely had some sort of support system in place to make it at Dunham, that school isn’t cheap.
  13. Betiku is the kid that TexAgs made up an interview for, right?
  14. I think the I'm plication of the governor comment is that we do play the game to a point but have a limit. Obviously we pay kids something, but we also tend to bow out when a bidding war starts.
  15. Nahlin has written in the past about the need to 'remove the governor' in recruiting. We seem to bow out of most bidding wars.
  16. Lmao at this generation being “mentally weak.” As opposed to what generation before it. Kids have opportunities now, if they don’t wanna be in Austin, let em leave
  17. Carter is gonna have made a lot out of all this, kudos to the kid.
