  1. He started conditioning the first day of offseason. Hired a personal chef and changed his eating habits. Showed up to practice the first day 10 pounds lighter. But ok.
  2. The Mavs defensive plan is to funnel drives I to gafford or lively. That said, Luka should be trying to make brown go left, not right. And he needs to be rotating instead of watching. I think he'll be better tonight. We've been good at making adjustments g2g.
  3. On offense: Be patient on the switch. Exploit them switching on the Luka PnRs and take it to the rim. If horford's in the game, finish in the paint. If KP 's in, pass to the open three. Tonight we didn't look to pass out. We don't ever run plays for Kyrie but we need to. Let Kyrie and Luka run the PnR with each other or play the two man game with them. On defense: I actually thought we did alright on the perimeter. We need to body up everyone but especially d white once the ball goes up. We gave them a few open 3s but we'll never be able to take that away. We have to win inside the paint especially if we get helpside defense from our bigs. We got beat 75% of the time tonight in an area we should control. Yes as much as he says it doesn't bother him those boos affect him.
  4. something called FrontOfficeSports.com is reporting amazon, warner bros (TNT), and comcast (NBC) are negotiating with TNT for nba rights. please make it happen.
  5. i want to know what does kendrick lamar think?
  6. It wasn't an issue because we could afford to leave someone unguarded on the perimeter - namely giddy. Against Boston we can't leave anyone alone. I hope you're right though.
  7. I'm not anti gafford one but, Im a huge fan. I just see he can't defend the perimeter. The issue is more than KP getting hot and hitting a bunch of 3s. Our defense is predicated on the perimeter guys funneling their players to the paint. That's where gafford and lively reside. Go back to any game the last two months and watch us get set up on defense- gaff And lively float there until their man comes to them. But they're not going to be there if they're guarding the three-point line which we have to against Boston.
  8. Thought i'd put this in here. Any Austin or Dallas surlsters have a lightly used 30 inch bbcor or (preferably) usabat they're looking to sell?
  9. is that a real article or is it something AI generated? i can never tell.
  10. Wait are you saying Gaff did well against OKC? Even with Chet being in constant foul trouble and shooting a combined 4/22 from 3 point land over the entire series (18%!) Gafford was AWFUL as the primary defender against Chet and JWill. They PnRed him to death. Gafford against OKC guarding Chet and JWill -2 -8 -8 -5 -10 -25 LIvely against OKC guarding Chet and JWill -13 18 16 2 22 26
  11. we can't switch too much off-ball before we're basically playing a zone defense. if they catch us switching on backside screens while they're running a PnR to get into the lane on the other part of the floor we're meat. either the lane's going to be wide open or there's a corner 3 open.
  12. lively yeah he's alright on the perimeter but gafford is not good at all out there. we're going to find out really quickly, i mean in the first 3 possessions quickly, what happens when gafford tries to guard kp or tatum on the line and the rotating starts happening. please be not awful. i'm ok with a single digit negative plus minus, just don't be awful.
  13. lakitu up in the clouds
  14. if i'm boston the best way to defend luka is to make him work on the defensive side of the ball. consistently him in PnR action. make him work through screens. make him chase off-ball around the floor.
  15. thanks for the summary.
  16. Very specific but you nailed it. Everyone's talking about how we stop Boston from the 3 pt line and rightfully so, but how is Boston going to stop us from controlling everything inside the 3 pt line?
  17. i really hope the research i did about yotta being FDIC insured was accurate lol. i have no idea what next steps look like other than waiting.
  18. what?
  19. That's the complete opposite of what's happening. Sheinbaum's victory is a direct referendum on AMLO's policies and paves the way for AMLO to pass legislation in the next month which will shape Mexico according to his vision. Make no mistake about it- this is a bad result for Mexico. Within a period of a short five years we're going to see a Mexico that is democratically much weaker. Moreno will control the election of judges (including their Supreme Court seats), abolish their version of the electoral college, reduce congressional size by eliminating opposition seats, and transfer regulation of important industries like telecom and utilities to the state.
  20. i get what you're saying but that's funny.
