Strange. HS class of 2000. UChicago was one of the schools who sent me the most mailers.- Dallas Cowboys 2024 Season Thread -- Jerrah the Asshat Rides Again
I think he loves himself more than money. He needs to be right. He needs to be in control. He needs the praise and recognition for doing a job well done. At this point more money doesn't make a difference in his life or his grandkids' lives. In his mind if he can win one more superbowl it will validate him as a football god.- Suzanne Simpson, the disappearing San Antonio realtor (UT alum)
I don't think that's what happened here, was just wondering if it'd ever happened before.- Suzanne Simpson, the disappearing San Antonio realtor (UT alum)
Has there ever been a case where the woman went missing and everyone thought it was the husband but it turns out she actually cut and run? Other than Gone Girl.- Dallas Cowboys 2024 Season Thread -- Jerrah the Asshat Rides Again

The HEB stuff is in the bag for days on end and I can't remember having bad experiences with that. Should be alright unless your cut of meat is bad to begin with- Texas Getting Michelin Star Ratings in 2025
if it were up to my kids they'd get a star.- 2024 - 2025 Dallas Mavericks Season Thread - This time we're not happy to just be here.
It's almost here. We host Wemby on Thursday 10/24 for the season opener - odd start time of 6:30p. Special games of note Thanksgiving Wednesday 11/27 6:30p - We host NYK, will Brunson actually play this time? Christmas Day 1:30p - We host the Timberwolves. Someone's going to be looking for revenge. New Year's Day 7pm - We're in Houston. Saturday Jan 25, 2025 4:30p - In Dallas, first game against the Celtics. Thursday Feb 6, 2025 6:30p - In Boston. Has Kyrie exorcised those demons? We start a brutal stretch of games immediately after the ASB. Thirteen games from Feb 21 to Mar 16 without more than a day's break in between. Our opponents during that stretch? NO, GS, LAL, Cha, Mil 2x, Sac, Mem, Phx, SAS 2x, Hou, Phi. On the flipside we have a decent last 10 games to end the season. NYK, Orl, Chi, Bkn, Atl, LAC 2x back to back, LAL, Tor, Mem. The season hinges on: - How healthy will Luka be going into the playoffs? - Can Kyrie stay healthy? - Does the Klay experiment work? - Will our team collectively take a step forward and be able to maintain the cohesiveness displayed last season post ASB through the playoffs? - Will THjr be our third scorer?* - Are QG and Naji > THj and DJj? I'm excited to see: - Individual improvement: namely Lively and especially Hardy. Towards the end of last season I saw glimpses of Hardy that reminded me of Brunson right before he went on his playoff run. - Nico: He's a wizard and what I appreciate most is his decisiveness to act when he knows something doesn't work or he sees something he wants. - Excited probably isn't the word. Anxious. I'm anxious to see if Jason Kidd can steer this ship. *lol so glad that's behind us- Blastfurnace 2024

Maybe his rhetoric outside of his play-by-play duties has been blunted but Sham's been very critical of them in his pbp for several years.- RIP Chuy's
lower temp - yes we had three fryers, two at lower temps and one at a higher temp with a different fat (all had lard but i'm not sure what the %s were). double frying is key, but we do that here also*. all the frozen stuff the chains use is par-fried before being frozen and bagged. i'm sure frying then freezing makes a difference vs frying fresh, resting, and frying again. *in a way.- RIP Chuy's
maris pipers are popular but there are plenty of chippies that use king edwards or other newer varieties. the main difference i've seen is 1.) chippies SOAK their cut chips in water for hours before cooking and 2.) they move them to a heated and enclosed on all sides save for one compartment to drain after frying. my grandparents owned a chain of chippies and we used to go back and me and my parents would help.- Golden Hat
good night he makes the hat and bevo look small.- All things SNL
