  1. Saw that, reminded me to sub to OTF. I definitely trust Gerry and haven’t seen anything else about a no contact tag since he first portaled. I believe.
  2. Agreed on both. On3’s national update didn’t seem to consider us too much of a threat for Booth at least. For Julian Larry they mentioned they are “keeping an eye” on this Texas visit, but additional OVs are likely. Goddamn I would love it if Avila isn’t a SLU lock and actually visits.
  3. You want Ralph Lauren to show up for a practice instead?
  4. Think the official box score might’ve had an error somewhere too because he had 5 threes, the dunk, and a turnaround mid-range shot that I remember. Had to gif this one on Cooper Flagg to send to a Duke friend.
  5. Looks like “Travis Scott and Michael Rubin Teach Business and Entrepreneurship 101” ended a little bit ago. What a world.
  6. Fong back at it again for another UT weekend visitor, Jaime Ffrench.
  7. This has all his makes (actually had 19 points). What it doesn’t show is that the putback happened right after his first miss of the night on a wide open corner three. I bet a lot of people watching didn’t think he had that type of athleticism to match the smooth shot. The effort all around was impressive though and this class should be pretty fun to watch nationally next season. Also Jamie Shaw @ On3’s final thoughts on the week:
  8. Remember when this was one of the most contentious subjects on the board just a year ago?
  9. Damn, Tre just misses what would’ve been a game winning buzzer beater off the back iron. Still a great performance.
  10. Pulled up again on a fast break and swished a stepback three off the dribble. Keep it up, Tre.
  11. He’s been pretty fun to watch early. Turned it over on a good double team by the East but recovered to force a TO of his own on the break. Followed it up with a deep three off the dribble and has a couple nice passes/defensive efforts too.
  12. Here’s both: Emily Proud
  13. No worries, I appreciate any insight. Been reminiscing about my PSP for years while living under a rock in regard to the capabilities of these modern handhelds, and now I can’t stop reading about them. After getting burnt out last year due to work/life and Madden connected franchise shitshows, grinding on Palworld and the upcoming CFB25 release have helped me rediscover my video game enjoyment. Plus my sneaker hobby has gone too far so this is my best attempt to fill the postgrad void.
  14. Was a tough call but really it came down to my preference for the Odin’s size/portability and Switch-like layout. The Steam Deck is just such a unit. Also helps that all my emulation experience in the past has been on Android and I like the OS. Trying to avoid any buyer’s remorse, but I’ve found enough setup guides to give me some hope that I can manage to get what I’m wanting out of it. If everything goes well then I ever decide to move past retro and cloud gaming, I’ll wait for any potential deals on a Steam Deck and give the Odin to my brother or a friend. Saw there are rumors of the Steam Deck 2 dropping in a couple years.
  15. Figured there was a Surly thread on this subject. I finally ordered the AYN Odin 2 Pro after researching all week. Didn’t realize how far along this type of tech had come besides a vague understanding of the Steam Deck. Looking forward to my attempts at emulating some of my favorite PS2/PSP games and getting the NCAA Next 06 mod to work, then seeing what else I can do from there. Also will be nice for Xbox remote play.
  16. Looks like Jeff McCulloch (Memphis Showboats) is the only Longhorn in the league from a quick glance at the rosters. Some other once notable names like Daylon Mack, Trey Williams and Anthony Hines. I will be there no matter what.
  17. Somebody get this guy a Shiner. 4/31 from three. Vintage Shaka.
  18. https://nbadraft.theringer.com/mock-draft Shocking to read Mitchell picked 45th here. Would love to see it even though I’m doubtful. I don’t know how credible The Ringer’s mocks usually are, but they sure do look nice.
  19. Joe Burrow perhaps
